This world was nothing more than an average everyday life for the common population. Until one night, everything changed. A baby born in China was given a unique ability known as a quirk. The baby's power took the world by store and the news, and he gained 10 million views. It was then that quirks were sprouting across the planet, bringing the society into chaos. Criminals who had quirks would use them for their own greed. This brought those who refused to stand by to take the fight into their own hands. They were then labeled as Vigilantes. As these clashes between the Vigilantes and Villains got worse, the world government had to adapt to the new era of superpowers and those who fought against the villains were now known as heroes.

After a century, a balance has scaled the world, with the heroes in the light, and the villains in the dark. But to keep the scales well balanced, there were a certain number of people who reside in the twilight to assure stability. But now, in the coming years, a boy will take his first steps and become a part of the world of heroes. His name is Izuku Midoriya.

As he was sleeping, his dream was indeed unique. Opening his eyes, he found himself in a world completely different. To his right were seven other people who were glowing in different colors. And right in front of him were two others. One of them was showing off a malice aura. Behind said man were five others with wings in different forms. Then the man in ragged clothes sees Izuku and approaches him. "I see. You're the ninth." He then reaches his hand out and at that moment, Izuku wakes up as his room was damaged. He saw red emitting from his hand as his mother Inko ran in.

"Izuku!" She sees that her son's eyes were in shock and excitement. "Sweetie, are you okay?"

"M-mom. Is this... my quirk?"

The next morning, Inko and Izuku went to the quirk clinic where they would know about the latter's quirk. Dr. Tsubasa waited for the results to come in and after a few minutes, he could not find the words for what he saw. "I... I don't believe it."

"What is it doctor?" Inko asked. "Is my baby alright? What quirk was he given?"

"Sorry. I was just in surprise. Now what happened when you saw your son?"

"He had red energy around his right hand. And his room was a complete mess. I even had cover up the window."

"And what quirks do you and your husband have?"

"I can use telekinesis on small objects. And my husband's quirk is Stockpile. He's a hero, and people truly respect him."

"So, you're both of the fourth generation, then. As you are aware, children who reach the age of four, are born with either of their parent's quirk or both. That's the quirk Singularity that scientists are still scratching around. But there are those are both unique quirks. And your son is among those people. He did use this 'Stockpile' last night as you described, but it wasn't his true quirk."

"What are you saying?" Inko felt scared for Izuku.

"I think it would best if were displayed. Izuku, try and reach of this pen."

Izuku reached his hand out and at that moment, the pen levitated to him, shocking Inko.

"As you can see, his quirk can adapt to other quirks from those he comes into contact with. But the thing about it is, he can gain access if he and the person can trust one another. And don't worry. It's not like he's stealing them, more like copying them permanently." Dr. Tsubasa then looks back at Izuku. "So, don't worry, kid. Your dream of being a hero is clear as day."

Izuku than fainted from joy and happiness with Inko catching him. "Thank you so much, Doctor. You don't know how happy this makes my son."

"Of course. The world needs people like him. If there are any problems, be sure to come back." As Inko left with her son, Tsubasa kind smile started to grow sinister. Returning to his office, he entered a secret room where he contacted someone through a monitor that had the words 'sound only'.

"What is it, Garaki?"

"Forgive me for my rudeness master, but you must know that found a child whose quirk can aid your cause brilliantly."

"No."

"Huh?"

"I don't have time to add another child to my plans. We must continue into molding Tomura into my perfect Successor."

"But master, you must understand-"

"Enough. We will not speak of this so-called child again. Do I make myself clear?"

"Y-yes, master."

"Good. Now refrain from contacting me until absolutely necessary."

The screen shuts off with Garaki in mere disappointment. 'Master, that boy's quirk and yours... They're both alike. Why can't you understand that!?'

Returning to their apartment, Izuku and Inko celebrate with katsudon and once dinner was done, Izuku hopped on the computer. "Really Izuku? You've seen this video ten thousand times, you're responsible for it trending on the internet. But I guess hardly anything scares you anymore." Putting on a video it shows a horrible disaster and emerging from the flames was a hero carrying a number of people.

"There he is!"

"It only been ten minutes, and he already saved a hundred people! Oh my god! And he still smiles!"

"Fear not citizens! Because I am here!"

It was Japan's #1 hero, the Symbol of Peace, All Might. The country, even the whole world looked up to him as a symbol. "Ahhh!" Izuku still couldn't get enough. "With my quirk, I can be a hero like All Might! I can make people smile!"

As Izuku was getting excited by the video Inko was on the phone with her husband. "He's very happy, Toshi."

"I bet he is."

"So, when are you going to tell him."

"Inko..."

"We talked about this. He's your son, and he deserves to know."

"When he's older. If I were to tell him now, he wouldn't stop bragging about it, and who know who would hear him."

"I guess you're right. And about the other thing."

"We'll talk about it another time. I have to go. I love you, Inko."

"I love you too, Toshinori."

He hangs up and decides to call an old friend in Yokohama. "Hey. It's been a while, Yukichi."

"It has. How have you been?"

"I've been doing well. My son's quirk finally developed. But..."

"But?"

"It's a combination of mine, and his."

"Don't forget, Izuku's your son. He'll never be like that monster. Excuse me, I have to put you on hold." Toshinori then hears punches and sword clashes. After a few moments, Yukichi picks the phone back up. "Sorry about that."

"It's fine. It must be hard being the only Hero Agency in Yokohama."

"It's not difficult. But still, it would be nice to have this place surrounded by trusting heroes."

"We're both symbols, Yukichi. We have to stay strong during these dark times. Anyways, I wanted to call and check in on you."

"Thank you. Toshinori Yagi."

"Of course, Yukichi Fukuzawa."

And here's where we start the Stray Dog Heroes.

I had this idea in my head when I was doing my Demon Slayer Fanfic. I was watching Bungou Stray Dogs and got interested.

I plan on splitting this story into parts.

I hope everyone enjoys it.
