"Hey, Liv." Sevyn greeted as she walked over to her cousin, she didn't stay over at the Baker's house like she'd normally do for the first day of school.
"Hey Sev, you didn't stay over last night," Olivia said as she hugged Sevyn.
"I had to see my man." Sevyn said with a smirk.
"Nasty." Olivia said with a laugh.
"Girl I barely got to see my man this summer, you know we were to see each other in Vegas but with him going to see his mom and me working with another center I've been busy," Sevyn said.
"True."
"Liv, Sev, hey, um, this is Vanessa Montes." Layla said causing the two to look their way.
"She's the new football coach's daughter. Olivia was the old football coach's daughter. And Sevyn here is his niece."
"Still am." Olivia said with an attitude.
"He isn't dead." Sevyn said with a mug.
"Nice to meet you." Sevyn said with a smile as she shook Vanessa's hand.
"Hi." Olivia said as she started to shake her hand until she realized who she was and pulled her hand back before saying, "Wait. What are you doing here?"
"I literally just told you. She's starting school here." Layla said stating the obvious.
"Unless you're not some " jump street" narc, are you?" Layla questioned jokingly to Vanessa.
"Not that I know of."
"Um, I've got to get to class." Olivia said before pulling Sevyn with her.
"Okay, what was that?" Sevyn asked as they turned the corner.
"That was the girl Asher was with when I went to Mexico to surprise him."
"Does Asher know that she was coming here?"
"Even if he did he wouldn't make it obvious," Olivia said before taking a sip out of her water bottle making Sevyn look at her.
"What?" Olivia said nervously thinking Sevyn knew about her drinking again.
"You haven't told him you tried to surprise him did you?"
"No."
"Olivia!" Sevyn said, hitting Olivia's shoulder, "You need to tell him."
"And why would I want to do that?"
"Because one you're a terrible liar when you're hiding something." Sevyn said just as the bell rang, "Look just talk to him I got class." Sevyn told her and walked away.
