I sit backstage nervously, waiting until it's time to head to the stage, and I couldn't stop thinking about y/n.

She's going on a date?

"Taylor, it's time!" The crew explained, interrupting my thoughts, as I headed to the opening.

Why am I constantly thinking of her?

"3..2..1.." the earpiece announced in my ear.

There was no time to process my thoughts right now, I was in front of 90,000 people.

"It's you and me, that's my whole world.." I began I sing my heart out, showing the world what I was capable of.

after the first few songs the anxiety faded, I felt fresh and free, as the crowd cheered.

"In case you haven't realized yet, we are in the lover era!" I yell waiting for the applause to end.

"so would you mind to share one last song for this era..?" The crowd electrifies.

I began to sing, and look around at all the people in the crowd who had someone there with, them. My heart began to break as I finally realized and processed what was going on, with me, and with our relationship.

"You're my.. my.. my.. lover." I sang, replaying y/n in my head imagining her dancing, cheering me on, and taking photos on me onstage in the crowd, and that's when I knew. I need to talk to Travis about what I'm feeling.

I started to tear up, and my voice began to crack. I felt bad for Travis, he was a gentleman. But I couldn't help but feel more loved by y/n than him.

The show went on and on, until I got to the surprise song set, and I wanted to tell Travis and y/n what I was feeling, even though they weren't watching.

"I sit and watch you reading, with your head low." I sing as the crowd screams.

"I notice everything you do or don't do.." I take a deep breath.

"If it's all in my head tell me now. Tell me I've got it wrong somehow. I know my love should be celebrated, but you tolerate it." I feel my salty tear run down my face, as the crowd became quiet, sensing how I'm feeling.

I eventually finished the song and walked over to the piano, and right away and began singing.

"It only hurts this much right now.."  I take a breath.

"What is was I was thinking the whole time."

"I'll be getting over you, my whole life." I couldn't hold it in any longer, right there, started to really let all go and cry.

"Uh oh, I'm falling in love.. Oh no, I'm falling in love again.. Oh, I'm falling in love." I crack and smile and sniffle.

"I thought the plane was going down how'd you turn me right around..?" My sad tears became happy tears, until I realized that I couldn't have y/n. She's on a date, and my smile quickly became a frown.

I bowed and headed off the stage, wiping off my tears for the last era, brushing everything from my mind clean.
