Chapter 4

Cassie' PoV

"Guys. We called this meeting because we are moving. We found a bigger house. We leave wednesday so start packing. We will be driving. And its in a different state so we will be on the road for like a week." Micheal (step dad) says

"Where?" I ask getting excited

"It's a surprise." Mom says

"Why?" Morgan asks

"Because we want it to be." Micheal says

"Ok." I say happily

"Well you better get packing. You have 3 days." Mom says and we run upstairs

Morgan and I get up to our room that we share and close the door.

"I'm so excited!" I yell

"Me too!" She yells and i grab my phone and she runs back downstairs to get boxes.

I unlock my phone and facetime devyn.

"Hey." He says

Devyn's PoV

Cassie ended the call and i layed back on my bed.

"She's adorable. She can sing. Her eyes are like oceans in heaven. We are so alike." I say to myself and just lay there thinking

Then my phone starts ringing.

Cassie❤️ wants to facetime

I answer the call

"Hey." I say

"Hi." She says happily

"What's up? You sound super happy?" I laugh

"We're moving." She says excitedly

"And youre happy about that?" I ask

"Ya. Devyn you may not believe this but I have been bullied since i was in 7th grade." She says

I didnt say anything. I just sat there with my jaw dropped open staring at her shocked.

"Devyn?" She says snapping my back into reality

"How could you be bullied? I mean. Look at you! You are beautiful! Who would bully a girl like you?!" I ask shocked

"These girls that think they are perfect. You know. The girls with the bitchy voices and snobby bitchy laughs. And the faces covered it makeup. One time i called her fat and she's like 'actually i lost 10 pounds in the last week.' And i just said 'you took half of your makeup off?!' And she slapped me. Like she probably only took of half. She uses like all of the containers on her face. You can literally see the powder on her face from 40 feet away." She says

"Youre really funny." I say while laughing

"And she tries to act cool and play softball and soccer just so she can mess with me. Like in a softball game she was up to bat and i was catching. She got walked cuz she probably slept with the umpire so she could get on base. And when she threw her bat to her dugout and turned to jog to the base and i 'accidentally' tripped her and she fell on her face." She laughed and put air quotes around accidentally

"Good for you. So where are you moving to?" I ask

"I dont know. They said its a surprise and we are moving to a diffrent state." She says

Cassie's PoV

"Oh. Well at least you wont have to be around that girl anymore." He says and Morgan walks in with a bunch of empty boxes

"I know right." I say

"Who are you talking to?" She asks

"Devyn. He's a younower." I say

"Oh. Well hey devyn. I'm morgan." She says and sits beside me

"Hey morgan." He says and she gets up and starts packing

"Well i should probably get packing." I say

"Ok. Call me tomorrow?" He says

"Yep. Bye." I say

"Bye." He says and hangs up

"He's cute." She says

"I know!" I say

"So how did you meet?" She asks while putting stuff into a box

"I was on younow broadcasting and he came in and said that i sounded like an angel and we followed eachother on twitter and dmed him my number cuz he asked. Then we facetimed and talked about random stuff and how i caught the kitchen on fire and how i broke my ankle before prom." I say while putting atuff in a box

"Awwe. He said you sounded like an angel. He's so sweet." She said

"I know. And he said i have beautiful eyes. And he said i was beautiful. And that i was funny. And he stuck up for me after i told him what megan has done to me. And then i told him some things that i did to her. That you probably dont know about." I say the last part quietly

"What did you tell him?" She asks and sits on my bed

"That she is a fake ass bitch, that you could see the powder on her face from 40 feet away, that i called her fat and she said that she lost ten pounds in the last week and i said that she probably took half of her makeup off then she slapped me, that she just joins sports to act cool and to mess with me, and when we were playing softball against eachother and i tripped her after she got a walk and she fell on her face. Oh and that she probably slept with the ump just to get on base." I say

"Oh my gosh! That was why she fell?!" She yelled while laughing

"Ya." I say

"And she probably did sleep with the ump." She says

"Yep. Well lets pack." I say and stand up and start packing

We are done packing and it is now 5 in the morning and the sun is coming up. We wanted to get it all done so we dont have to do it later.

"Wanna just pull an all nighter?" I ask

"Sure." She says and we go downstairs in the dark

"Shit!" I say and i fall down half of the stairs. I get to the bottom and start laughing

"What the hell was that?!" Mom says while walking out and turning the light on as the rest of the family comes out and stands behind her.

I just sit there laughing my ass off. While morgan was in the middle of the stairs laughing too.
