Grace
The next day I had just come down for breakfast when Elena was suddenly pulling me towards the door "Elijah" I said breathless with a smile, happy to see him but he looked slightly hesitant to see me "I don't mean to intrude. I was hoping you...two might accompany me. I want to show you something"

I nodded and quickly went upstairs, grabbing my cardigan and putting on some shoes before heading back down. Elijah smiled when he saw me but his smile faltered when he looked behind me. I turned and saw Elena standing at the top of the stairs "lets go shall we" I said continuing down the stairs and out the door.

Elijah drove us out on a dirt path through the forest. After ten minutes of driving, he  and we climbed out "Forgot how much I missed this land" "Can't even imagine what it must have been like a thousand years ago" honestly Stefan's words made me think about my relationship with the Mikaelsons.

'Was our relationship real? Did they love me for me? Or just because I looked like someone they used to love?'

"You know, your school was built over an Indian village. Where I saw my first werewolf. The town square was where the natives would gather to worship. Matter of fact, near that was a field where wild horses used to graze" I looked out at the field picturing what it would have looked like.
