Theo stood in the tower; he was groaning and panting. Many times, he was tempted to call Clover or one of his past girlfriends to come to his villa. He had sworn before that he wouldn't take any women into this villa, and he was determined to do it.
Every time he was tempted, he imagined his mate's suffering for the past years, and he made her pain a shield from temptation. This was his first day of the in-heat period; the pain and urge were ultimate. He was tossing and hurling in bed, and he even fell to the carpeted floor. This is also the first in-heat period that he won't take any woman except for his mate which is impossible for now.
"This is nothing compared to the pain and suffering of his mate a hundred times before. He needed to be out; no human would see him because the gate surrounding the property was tall and he'd outside in the middle of huge oak trees.
Savannah fell asleep, thinking of how to trick the staff. She was exhausted, and she didn't realize it. When she woke up, it was already past six. She realized Edward had taken her to the master's bedroom. She checked the walk-in closet and found her husband's clothes, shoes, and accessories were arranged according to tone. She opened the drawers and inspected the inside. There were no traces of women inside the room.
She smiled when she remembered that Theo hated clutter. She sneaked many times into his room before, and everything was arranged and organized. The day that she left him, she threw away his things and made a huge mess, as if a whirlwind had passed his room.
She was not at all surprised when she opened the room and saw the interior design. The design was classic, luxurious, and timeless. The walls of this classic-style bedroom are decorated with great grace, with luxurious wallpaper and silk-screen printing. There are more decorative layers made in the form of a panel.
She likes the beige tones he used on the walls—pinkish-beige walls. She felt like Sultana in her private chamber, waiting for the Sultan. The bed was inviting and so soft that she fell asleep when her body contacted the soft fabrics.
She opened the glass sliding door, stepped onto the balcony, and frowned when she saw Theo rushing to the oak trees. He was limping as if he were in pain, walking towards the shades of huge trees until he disappeared.
Why is he going outside if he doesn't feel well? Wolves are in good physical shape and have never been sick, she noticed during her stay on Red Island. In fact, she envied them because, all her life, her health was her weakness.
She decided to follow him; this was the right time for her to talk to him about Joyce and Julie Ann. She looked around and saw no one, but she couldn't go to the entrance and follow Theo. Security personnel would definitely stop her, particularly Edward The Follower, who gave her the impression of being extremely loyal.
She looked down and smirked. She was on the second floor, and she could go down easily. She studied how to go down, and in less than a minute, she was on the ground. She immediately ran to the oak trees before scouts could see or stop her.
She arrived at the forested areas, panting. Catching her breath, she looked around. She heard a growl from behind. She slowly turned and gasped when she saw Theo in his feral form. She once saw him last time, when he killed the rogues, but his aura is different right now. It seemed that he was almost rabid. His pupils were dilated, and his breathing was fast and loud, like he had just come from a very long run.
The most important thing she noticed was his temperature. He was so hot, feverish, and she could feel his heated body from where she stood. He made a loud yowl as if he were in pain, and she stepped back because she became afraid and intimidated.
To her surprise, he transformed in front of her. His face was contorted in pain. "What the fuck are you doing here, Savannah?" He asked furiously.
"I.... " "I want to talk to you about important things," she said, stammering.
