The normal day had come and gone. School, lunch, school.  Makki and matsun walked home from school, but you'd found out that oikawa and iwaizumi took the same bus as you. Iwaizumi lived a block away from you whereas oikawa lived about five stops down. On days without practice you and iwaizumi went straight from class to the bus, usually oikawa would take a later bus when and stayed with other friends after school. You didn't mind though, iwaizumi seemed like the quietest of the group, so spending one on one time with him helped you actually talk and build a friendship.

Today however, the team's day off, oikawa did end up getting on the early bus with you and iwaizumi. You both were surprised to see him but not at all unwelcoming to his presence. He asked iwaizumi about his day, which was pretty similar to yours since you were in the same class. About mid conversation you saw your bus stop coming, so you stood up. Just as quickly as you did oikawa pulled you back down by your back pack.

"Nope," said oikawa.

You shot him a confused look. "What are you doing?" You asked angrily.

"Did you not check your dms?"

You shook your head. "I have my instagram notifications muted."

"Well we're hanging out."

"Now?"

"Yes," he said.

"But I'm still in my school clothes, I could've at least gotten off and changed!"

He shrugged. "Well too late for that now."

You shot him a mild glare. One stop later iwaizumi got off leaving you and Oikawa alone.

"So what are we doing? Why isn't iwaizumi coming?"

"You'll see, and I didn't ask him."

"Why not?"

He sighed, "I wanted to hang out with you, I was thinking it could be just the two of us."

You raised a brow. "Okay..."

After a few minutes oikawa took your hand and pulled you out of your seat. You noticed how instead of condos, the neighbourhood you were in was full of big houses, really nice ones as well.

"Wait are we going to your house?"

He nodded as you walked beside him.

"Damn," you gawked, "this is a really nice neighbourhood, your parents must be loaded!"

"Yeah," he chuckled, "my mom's a lawyer and my dad works in government."

"That's cool, does he travel to Tokyo a lot? Or other countries?"

"Yeah, half of the time it's just me and my mom at home, we have another apartment in Tokyo he stays at if he's needed there for multiple days, so he's not in town most weekdays."

"Hm," you said and kept walking beside him. Eventually you felt his hand grab your waist and guide you back. You must've missed how he started moving down a walkway parallel to the side walk.

"This one's mine." He nodded in the direction of the house he was walking.

"Ah."

He pulled a key out of his bag once you were at the door and unlocked it. He pulled the door open and motioned for you to go in before him.

You took your shoes off and looked at the inside of oikawas house. The first thing you noticed was that it was very clean. Despite that though, it was very homey. You waited for him to walk in and just followed him.
