Ten years later, on Christmas Eve, 2017, the war started.

Now the lover boys aren't young anymore. Satoru became a teacher at Jujutsu High, still the strongest and Suguru started the war between them. But what's the point in being the strongest if your biggest strength becomes your weakness?
Now here they are, standing face to face, a killer fate before them. But who is going to pay the price for falling in love? Who is really the interloper in this story? Suguru is leaning his back against the wall, at the threshold of his death.

(This is the actual dialogue from the movie!!)

"You're late again, as usual, Satoru."

"The ones from Kyoto... They were under your command...?"

"Yes, they all were. No matter what anyone tells you, I hate those monkeys, but... I never held any hatred for those in Jujutsu high school. Return this for me, will you?"

"Was the elementary school your doing too?"

"It was... You sent those two assuming I would defeat them, didn't you? To set Okkotsu off..."

"I trusted you'd be yourself... I trusted a man as principled as you wouldn't kill young sorcerers without a reason."

"I'm a kind person. Unlike you, Satrou. To think you'd be the one here, at my end. Are you going to make sure my family is safe?"

"Every last one of them managed to escape to safety. Suguru... Tell me. Do you have any last words?"

"I didn't think I had any of that left in me... After everything we've been through..."

(From here, it's not canon anymore):

"Everything we've been through, yet we're still hurting each other without realising."

*Hmph.* "The least you could do is curse me a little..."

"I love you, Geto Suguru."

"Love is the most twisted curse of all."

"... Do you think we'll be soulmates in our future lives?"

"How can we be soulmates if we're destined to never be together?"

"..."

"Maybe someday, someone will love you like I do."

And in that moment, time stopped again for the last time. A star lost its light for a man lost his lover. Not a teenager anymore, but a teenager's soul trapped in an adult's body, forced to endure the present, but every inch of it trying to escape and go back. Go back to 11 years ago, when the inevitable was still scary, but far away.

Satoru killed his lover. It's not like he wanted to, really, his heart was aching until it became numb from too much pain. But he had to. It was the only choice he had. Not moving on, not going back in time, not breathing, not there, just numb.

"No one will love me like you do."

He fell to his knees and kissed him for the last time. Not the end of the world, but the end of their world. The end of their story. He hugged him tightly sobbing in his arms. If he couldn't cry then, when could he? If he wouldn't cry for him, who would? At least he died knowing he was loved.

Hours passed and Shoko found Gojo still there, in Geto's arms, numb and frozen in time.

"Gojo..."

"..."

"It's time to let go."

"I don't want to."

"You don't have a choice. I'm sorry."
