Arriving at his apartment building, he found his mother arriving at the same time. "Izuku darling." Izuku walked faster to his mother. She embraced him in a hug and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Sorry, there was some sort of accident, so I took longer to come back." He told himself that he wasn't lying, just not telling the whole truth. But he still felt bad.

Once inside, he packed away the groceries while his mother prepared to make supper. Once he had finished, he turned on the TV. He switched the channel until it landed on a news one. He let it run while he got to work on the school work his mother had brought for him. He wasn't really paying much attention until his mother spoke up. "Oh dear." This made him look up at what was happening on the screen.

"...also known as Slayer. This man was a highly wanted villain who was involved in a mass shooting just the other day. The man was found beaten in an alley." The news was showing the man that Izuku had beaten and the alley where he had left him. As he watched, he didn't feel guilt. There was some sort of pride. He had done that, him the Quirkless Deku, did that. He felt powerful.

That night, he lay in his bed just thinking. Was it bad, it was wrong. No, he would not do it again. With that, he fell into a dreamless sleep.

The next morning, he woke to his alarm. He opened his eyes and was greeted by the unfamiliar sight of his bare room. Even though it was unfamiliar, it was somewhat more comforting than the vibrant posters. He got out of his bed and quickly got ready. Once dressed, he walked into the kitchen. He saw a note from his mother saying she had to leave early. He put it back down and got himself some cereal. As he was eating, he scrolled through the news on his phone. There wasn't much. When he was finished, he rinsed his bowl and put it in the sink. He grabbed his school bag and walked out of his apartment, locking the door behind him.
