ZANE ELLISON
JUNE 28; FRIDAY"YOU NOT GONE say anything?" Ashley broke the silence as they drove back from her doctor's appointment. Zaylee was asleep in the backseat while Zane quietly drove.
The two were back in Minnesota and ever since they came back from Memphis, they hadn't really been talking. Ashley guessed he was still in his feelings after hearing her tell him that the baby wasn't his.
You could literally hear a pin drop in the house. Only thing he had been doing was going to his therapist appointments, spending time with Zaylee, and sleeping. He was starting to get pissed off with Ashley.
"There's nothing to say Ash. I want you to get rid of it." He glanced over at her with a quick second. His eyes really showed no emotion before he started back focusing on the road.
Ashley immediately shook her head no. "No, I'm not doing it." She immediately said. This whole conversation brought up deja vu from when she was pregnant last time with Zaylee. He had the same reaction then.
"Listen. I'd feel really bad if you had that baby and I was a deadbeat cause ion want it." he repeated his self with a careless shrug. It was true. Zaylee was an exception but he learned to love her. It was no reason not to, she was here now.
But if Ashley was to do the same of what she did last time, he'd never forgive her. They'd be over.
"What? A deadbeat? Zane, we're talking about a child here. A whole human being."
He let out a long sigh. "Well if we're talking about a whole fucking human being you'd do the right thing and get a damn abortion. It's gone be your fault if the child grows up without a father, now isn't it." He explained to her.
"Oh my God. You had no problem when you thought you were expecting another child with Rhyan. And now that you're not you sitting up here crying like a bitch." She scoffed, over it as she laid her head on the window. "I fucking hate you. Why do you always do this." He could hear her voice crack and already knew she was about to start crying.
His face immediately scrunched up, a mug being replaced. "Why everytime we disagree on something you gotta sit up and cry?" He questioned her. "That's that gaslighting shit i be talkin bout..." He trailed off.
"It's not! You're telling me to go and get rid of my baby zane." She tried to argue her case.
"It's not even a damn baby yet! it's still a damn seed." He argued back. "I'm telling you to do what's best for the both of us. Shit were barely good enough parents for Zaylee. What you think bringing another one in gone do?"
"That's kinda crazy and you sound dumb as hell." He said.
"I don't wanna talk about it anymore Zane." She muttered with a roll of her eyes.
