RHYAN BROWN FEBRUARY 14; TUESDAY
RHYAN'S LEAST FAVORITE part about working in healthcare was that she had miss holidays that were on the weekdays. Today was Valentine's Day and she was especially tight because this was her favorite holiday.
"You okay Ms.Brown?" Brenton chuckled coming over to her desk, a cup of Starbucks coffee in hand.
Looking over at him confusedly, she checked her Apple Watch. "You supposed to been left, Rowe. What you till doing here? Everything straight?" She licked her lips sitting up straight in the chair.
The emergency room was calm as of right now which she was thankful for. She wanted a calm, stress free day.
"I'm doing over time. I know some people gotta get home to the dates and stuff. Plus I got broke up with this morning so." He shrugged and rhyan let out an audible gasp, being shocked.
"On Valentine's Day?! For real?" She was real confused. Either Brenton wasn't shit or the girl was crazy because he was real handsome. He was a white boy and resembled Prince Harry.
He started to laugh, finding the whole situation hilarious. "Uh yeah. She was pregnant and broke things off with me this morning."
"Yeah, that baby definitely wasn't yours. I'm sorry though, I know how it feels. Don't dwell too much Brent. I'm sure you gone find somebody that's meant for you." She assured and he nodded.
"Thank you Nurse Brown, anywho I gotta get back to work." He spoke lastly before walking off. Rhyan watched as he disappeared and a frown etched across her face. She hated seeing people heartbroken.
Checking her Apple Watch for the fifth time today she sighed at the fact that she had an hour left. Suddenly, a text came through her Apple Watch from Kaz.
kazimir🩵👅😡 after work be ready at 7:30. Ima pick you up.
A big smile appeared on her face but she quickly covered it as visitors continued to pass by her desk. She quickly responded off her phone and put it back down, happy like a school girl.
All do that was ruined when another ER nurse came over to her, quickly putting her mask on. "Nurse a brown, we need you."
Rhyan got up smoothing down the heart shaped scrub before following her. It was just another day in the Emergency room.
