Cadi is still a little subdued the next morning, but a lot better. I smile lightly at her then turn to the stove to avoid having to talk to her. I'll go into this parents thing later. I want to know every little detail about her. Every little detail.
I notice something taped to the window, and frown. What is it? I pick it up and realize that it's a note.
Meet me in the woods ...
~ Bella.
I smirk. Time to meet Bella - no, she's not one of the mortal girls I've been having some fun with recently, just a demon girl. Yeah, we're a thing. This would be the time in which I say how I'd go to the end of the Earth for her, but to be honest I wouldn't need to, and even if I did, I wouldn't. And she doesn't expect me to.
Relationships aren't a commitment, they're a way to pass the time.
I lightly kiss her forehead. "I need to go and do something, okay? I'll be right back," I assure her, smoothing down her curls.
She smiles. "Okay." I smirk. I plan on knowing her every way you can know a person soon.
*
I catch a few rabbits and sling them over my back, and then go searching for my girlfriend. Where is she?
I finally find Bella - pale skin, dark Asian eyes that slant upwards, thick raven hair tied up in makeshift chopsticks. Her short off-shoulder black dress only adds to her appeal, showing off her long legs. She's curvy, with a similar build to Cadi. The only flaw I can really find is a thin white scar, going all the way down her neck. Her childhood scar. (A/N - a childhood scar is a scar that most demons have from the times they played with dangerous weapons at very young ages and managed to harm themselves or each other.)
She smirks when she sees me. "You got my note?"
"Yeah," I say, sitting down on a tree stump. She sits on my lap. "Why did you want to see me?"
"I couldn't have you forgetting me, could I?" She pouts. "Though from the rumours I've been hearing, you've forgotten me already. Who's that pretty little blonde in your bed?"
I smirk. "Someone's getting jealous." She glares at me. I chuckle. "Don't worry, Bella," I say with amusement. "She's just an angel girl that I'm keeping for now."
Her head jerks round so fast that one of her chopsticks falls out. Half of her hair collapses around her shoulders, but she still looks kinda scary.
"An angel girl?" she demands quietly. "Are you mad, Andres? Do you want to end up-"
"I'm not going to end up Wingless for having some fun with an angel girl, Bella!"
"I'm sure you're not!" Bella snaps.
"Oh please. She's just an angel. What does it matter?"
"You're going to ruin her life." Her voice is matter of fact. She doesn't look at me as she swirls the rest of her hair into her bun. "Angel or not..." She shakes her head mid-sentence. "Whatever." She walks off, sliding away like a cat. I frown.
"Bella! Bella!" I call after her, but she doesn't look back.
Cadi's POV
Andres eventually comes back, looking slightly confused and a little surprised and very annoyed. I sigh.
"Are you okay, Andres?" I ask meekly. I don't want him to lose his temper with me.
He runs his hands through his hair, and then all of a sudden, pulls me onto his lap and turns me to face him, lightly brushing his fingers down my face.
Then he leans down to kiss me, and his kiss surprises and thrills and scares me all at once.
My first kiss. And I am happy to have my first kiss with a dark, dangerous boy who lives in a hut and wears black V-necks. My parents were expecting it to be a golden-haired boy who lives in one of Heaven's mansions and wears angelic robes, and truthfully, so was I.
But I'm all too happy with this.
Short as hell I know :( But I'm suffering from awful writer's block D: So bear with me :P
