Neeomi (?)I've been awake on the ground for about ten minutes now. I can't open my eyes. I'm scared to. I'm scared as to what I'm going to see. My whole body feels paralyzed in fear and agony. I don't want to move, but eventually a light voice persuades me too.
"Princess Neeomi, please wake up!"
I recognize the soft voice as one of my maids. Slowly, I lift my heavy eyelids, relishing in the familiar face. Trying to sit, I scrunch my face in pain before letting out a throaty cough, holding my hand to my chest. The questions in brain try to escape through my mouth, but nothing comes out, I feel like I haven't water in years.
My eyes dart to all my surroundings, hoping to see the familiar setting of Illumini. But that's not what I'm greeted with. Instead I see pure chaos and discord between everyone. People are screaming, buildings are toppled over, and I could tell of that I wasn't home. Instead, I was laying outside, in the mix of it all.
"Where- where am I?" I manage to squeak out, my voice hoarse.
My maid smiles, cupping my cheek. "Honey, you're in Prowless."
Suddenly, all the pieces come together. We had figured it out too late, Eternity was never going to collapse. Instead it folded, and Illumini being across from Prowless, we landed here. I guess my district was on the unlucky side that got lifted and crushed into the right.
"Where are my parents?" I ask, trying to stand up only to fall to the ground again, my legs feel like jelly. My maid quickly tends to me, helping me sit up and wiping my dress of dust and debris.
"Your parents are fine, my princess. They were here just a few minutes ago, but left to try and gather all of the Illumini citizens." she said, her gaze not meeting mine.
"Oh." is all I managed to say. I shouldn't feel disappointed, they are the Queen and King of a whole district that's just been destroyed, they aren't going to wait for their pathetic daughter to wake up, when there were hundreds of their people in need of help.
It still hurt though.
I needed them.
Feeling tears begin to well up in eyes, ruining my already mess of makeup, I quickly turn my head, not wanting my maid to see me so vulnerable. My choked up sobs didn't help though. She brought my tear-streaked face back up to hers, a look of pure sympathy lingered in her eyes.
"Your majesty, I know this is all overwhelming. Here, how about you take a walk, hm? Clear your mind. It's not everyday you get to see the sights of Prowless." she whispers, smiling at me.
I rub my cheeks before running a hand through my disheveled hair, "I suppose.." I mutter, mostly to myself. My maid helps me stand up, I muster a weak smile before nodding at her and attempting to move my jelly legs.
Somehow, I didn't fall this time, walking in a slow and unsteady pattern through the streets. Taking in the sights around me, I felt more tears slip down my reddened face. Everything was in complete disarray. It felt so surreal, as if this was all just nightmare produced from my distorted imagination. I was waiting to wake up, I was hoping to wake up.
Illumini buildings and belongings were all over, crashing into Prowless. They had a cute little district, little bakeries and parks scattered over, all now demolished from our own. I realized that not only my community was suffering, Prowless was too. We had crashed their district. I tried to imagine what was happening in all of Eternity. If the left side of the star had been picked up and folded into the right side, then that must mean that Wingstale had went into Plantis. The the top point, Atlanticas, must have gone into...itself? I wasn't really sure what was happening up there.
