NNC EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH FORMER MEMBER OF THE SEVEN: VIOLET HENRY. HERE TO TALK HER FILES FOR THE FIRST TIME TELEVISED, WE HERE IN THE NNC STUDIOS GAIN ACCESS INTO HER RAMPANT TRUTH...

"Hello Miss Henry, or can I call you Violet?" Mike First grinned at her from across the stage, his grey hair slicked back. It was spiking up at the sides, it aggravated her.

She smiled back, "of course."

Everything about this aggravated her. Lola, who had recently become her personal assistant, publicist, social media manager... About every role that she needed in her life, said that it was necessary. Everything that was happening was necessary. What Lola had explained, was that she couldn't leave her files to the public and expect it to all fall smoothly. She couldn't let Vought have their say, to spin it like they had in the past. And she was right, because that was exactly what they tried to do.

What Violet could have never expected when she released her files to the public was that she would gain a new found fame. Hundreds of thousands of followers, people who stood in purple chanting her name alongside Annie's. She had unknowingly caused herself to become a public symbol, speaking for all those who want Vought to be held responsible. But there was a rift... Those who believed her and those who didn't. And those who didn't waved the flag proudly and chanted Homelanders name.

They also called her a "mentally ill, LGBT, Shakespearean devil", and she was still working out how they could tell she was bisexual just because she often sat with her knees far apart. She sat stiffly that time, fiddling with her chair. She was drowning in meetings with Mallory and YouTubers "debunking" her like she was merely fiction. She really hated true crime. No longer could she hide and attempt to live a normal life, she could hardly spend time searching for a cure for Billy. Which was why she finally gave in to her first televised interview on the subject.

"I first want to thank you for agreeing to this exclusive interview, I understand this must have been very traumatic for you to share," Mike First said with inquisitive eyes.

She inhaled, "As I said in my statement, all I want is for the public to have access to the truth."

She had made her files public on a whim. Truthfully, she should have put it out there it parts, and saved the more sensitive areas. Because now, anyone with an interest can learn her birth parents names, her DNA, what can kill her... It was itching in the back of her mind. There was a permanent figure stood behind her, and she was waiting for the next big fight. There has to be a person dumb enough to test her, but so far the only threats she had received were from balding men online who get off over the Easter eggs at the end of supe films.

In an ideal world, her files would have been enough to bring down Vought for good. You would think, what with the incriminating images of her strapped down to an operating table, that every important organisation would burn them to the ground, and she would have slipped through to kill Homelander. But the case was merely building, as speculation, as alleged. Mallory said to wait, that investigations were commencing. But perhaps all that was, was the ice to cool her burning anger before she took matters into her own hands.

"It's quite unbelievable," he said, "excuse me for saying so, that is just the public opinion. A lot of overwhelming information, there are some who don't believe you. What do you have to say to that?"

"I would tell them to look at the facts, because they're all there," she said passively.

She had rehearsed her answers. Naturally. Lola told her to do so, so did Annie and the rest of The Boys. She anticipated it all, waiting to get off stage. Her purple suit sat uncomfortably on her skin, dressed as though she was supposed to appear in 70s Vogue. The public image Lola had fostered for her felt more like a costume than the suit Vought had made for her. But it was necessary, and it was her, it was the truth. No matter how much it did feel like a costume, it was all entirely her, she had to let the public be privvy to who she actually is.
