"I'm hungry." Niki exaggerated whilst clutching his 'grumbling stomach.' "Can someone go to the convenience store?" He begged, looking around the eight others who sat around in one of the motel rooms. (it being their last night there)
"Two people should go, the rest can just hang out here." Jake suggested with a shrug, nodding along and agreeing with Niki and his hunger pains. "But ever who goes make sure to bring back ice cream."
"Oo, Mint chocolate ice cream." Bitna awed to herself at the thought of the mint flavoured ice cream — Sunoo instantly agreeing and justifying her point even more.
"How do you like that?" Sunghoon clenched his face in disgust, "it tastes like.. toothpaste." He commented in pure horror — definitely not wanting to imagine the thought of him eating the same thing that Bitna had just cooed over.
"I wasn't asking you to eat it?" The younger girl pointed out with a sassy tone, rolling her eyes due to the boys aggravating behaviour.
Jay let out a loud groan and threw his head back in annoyance before standing up and walking over to the bickering pair, making them both stand. "Why don't you guys continue this on the way to the store?" He suggested, leading the two towards the door.
"But-" Bitna tired to protest, the door being slammed in her face as a result. The Kim girl slumped her shoulders and let out a heavy sigh, Sunghoon beginning to walk ahead. "Wait for me."
The two walked in comfortable silence, not a word being uttered or spoken loudly. It was calm and surprisingly there was no arguments. (So far)
"So, have you thought about your wish yet?" His husky spoke suddenly spoke up, his broad shoulders colliding with her much narrower ones as they walked closely beside one another.
Bitna looked up at him in confusion, a conflicted 'hum' escaping her lips in return. "You know, the wish? Since I argued first." He explained, an understanding gasp now present on her behalf.
"Yeah, but- it's stupid and sorta embarrassing.." she mumbled, a breathy chuckle leaving Sunghoon as he looked down at the girl — keeping his eyes on her as they walked.
"Just say it." He encouraged, a smile brightening up over his face and happiness kidnapping his usual stressed out complexion.
"Well, I just wanted to ask if you'd come and visit me when I'm in college." She blurted out, her cheeks growing rosey instantly after. "It's fine if you don't want to, I know there's no real reason for you to and it's a big hassle to drive out here. There is no pressure at all— feel free to decline the wish." She rambled.
Her eyes glued to the ground as she used her hands to emphasis her point, not looking where she's going — Sunghoon having to gently tug the sleeve of her shirt to stop her from crashing into the lamp post.
"Bitna." He finally cut in on her rant, stopping in his tracks and making her do so too. He stared down at her with fond eyes and a toothy smile. "I was going to visit you even if you didn't make it your wish." He replied, butterflies and fireworks exploding in her stomach.
Bitna let out a shy giggle and stared down at her feet, trying to hide her blushing cheeks. "Bitna." Sunghoons voice gently spoke out her name — and even that made her legs go wobbly. "Even though I didn't win the wish, can I still have one?" He questioned.
Bitna slowly nodded, her eyes gently lifting up to look up at him. Sunghoons hands raised, it coming to tuck strands of her hair behind her ear — leaving his hand resting on her neck and cheek. "Can I kiss you?"
Her eyes widened, her breath hitching in her throat as she slowly nodding. This wasn't their first kiss, or their second kiss. But for some reason this one felt different, it felt more real, more genuine.
Sunghoons lips pressed against hers, his spare hand coming down to rest on her hip to pull her in close. He didn't care that they were in the middle of the street for everyone to see. He didn't think about all of they, he only cared about the fact that she was there with him and no one else — not Jo, not Gaon, no one else but him.
She was his whether she knew it or not and whether she liked it or not.
His tongue explored the walls of her mouth, the hand that once rested on her hip coming up to clutch her face with the other one — her hands gripping onto his shirt, tugging and longing for his touch.
"We need to hurry back before people get suspicious." Bitna reminded as she pulled away, gasping for air while not being able to bite back a smile — her eyes meeting his as their foreheads pressed against one another for a split moment.
"Okay." Sunghoon responded with a whiny tone, kissing her cheek before taking her arm wrapped around his. "I want this to be real." He spoke out, walking along the pathway whilst still gripping onto her hand. "I don't want you to be with anyone else, and I'm not talking about a free trial either.. I want us to be the real thing."
Bitna felt her heart leap and spiral around inside her chest, a warm and fuzzy feeling entering her body. "Seriously?" She questioned, looking over at him with glistening eyes.
"My life would be a lot more boring without you in it, and I don't think I would've coped well with certain things either." He explained in a hushed tone, "you don't just make me-me, you make me a better me."
Bitna let out a laughish squeal and cuddled closer into his side, "that's so cute." She commented with the widest grin she has ever had.
"I'm not cute, I'm cool." He boasted, causing Bitna to jokingly pulled away and roll her eyes, hugging back close to him again.
"Okay, whatever you say." She hummed, reaching her tiptoes to peck his cheek — his head turning to capture his lips just in time, a blush forming on her usual pale skin while a smirk bloomed up onto his. "You can only act this way to me, no one else can see your cute side." She stated with a smile — her cheeks throbbing by how much she had smiled the whole time.
"Me cute?" He scoffed and shook his head, "your cuter." He pointed out with a laugh — Bitna's smile dropping and being replaced with a serious look.
"Don't even try."
