"Okay girls, let's practice our goal shoots!" Coach Yoon shouted at the girls as she blew her whistle. The group of eleven girls formed a single file line and all awaited their turn to step up and shoot the ball into the football goal.

"Okay boys, use your sticks and throw the ball into the net!" Coach Jang yelled to the line of ten males over on the lacrosse court - located just beside the football field.

As captains, both Bitna and Sunghoon stood front in the queue, sparing each other a piercing glance before stepping forward at the same time. Sunghoon flipped his lacrosse stick in his hands before picking up the ball - Bitna positioning herself in a secure place to kick the ball, studying the movements of the chosen goalie.

This wasn't just to prove to Coach Yoon that she was a trusting captain - it was her own competition against Sunghoon, it was prove that she was the better sports player and captain to him.

At the blow of the two coaches whistles, both of them attempted to score - Bitna rearing up and booting the ball, it crashing into the back of the net as the goalie tried to block the left - Sunghoon swung the stick over his shoulder before bringing it back down to throw the ball into the net, dodging the boys chosen goalie.

Coincidently, the two turned to look over at each other, seeing that the other had scored on their turn. Sunghoon let out a scoff and made his way to the back of the queue, glaring at Bitna as soon as their eyes met.

After a few more rounds, it was back to being their go. Both of them doing the same thing and scoring - rolling their eyes after seeing that the other person had also succeeded. "This Is the last round before we head inside!" Coach Yoon stated as it was Bitna's go to step forward again.

She looked over at Sunghoon, her eyes hooded with rivalry and concentration. She wanted this, no, she needed this. Every bone in her body screamed at her to win - she would never forgive herself if she didn't.

"Let the best captain win.." they each mumbled so that only themselves could hear. The whistle went off again and both of them took their chances to score, yet only one of them did.

Cheers broke out on the field as everyone on the girls team came to swarm Bitna. She did it! She had won and beat Sunghoon. The whole of the lacrosse team had grown quiet - them each taking turns to glance at Sunghoon and waited for his outburst - but it never came.

Instead, Sunghoon threw his stick down in irritation as he yanked off his gloves with help of his teeth before storming his way off the pitch. His heart swelled with anger, what would his dad say if he saw him right now? He'd be mortified to call Sunghoon his son - no son of his looses to a girl, especially at sport.
