Eruption Aftermath

The Honkai attack finally ends, thanks to the X-men, the Avengers, and Bailey.

However, the attack has left a deepened scar on citizens across the globe, a reminder when mutants become too powerful, they deeply regret labeling them as monsters and the consequences of their homes being destroyed, including the earth that almost became a rotten planet.

As for Minerva, the mutant known as the Herrscher of the Void, who brought the Honkai onto Earth was unconscious due to the Anti-Honkai, Spear of Destiny weakening the Herrscher, and it took time to wake up.

Because she was the Herrscher who nearly destroyed the world, the United Nations demanded to lock her away for her actions, especially the military and the public who almost lost their lives, their homes, and the people close to them. But it was turned down, and many prisons rejected her transfer because the prisoners suffered psychological damage, including mental institutes due to patients enduring hallucinations during the Honkai eruption. This worries everyone as the Herrscher of the Void not only kills those who hated mutants but also criminals and the mentally unstable, which causes the law system to be broken.

To make matters worse, people begin mistrusting wealthy people and organizations like Hydra, A.I.M, and Norman Osborn. They believed they were selfish and greedy people who wanted to control and ruin the lives of others for their gain. But it turned out Hydra, A.I.M, and Norman Osborn were dead during the eruption, this scares people more as much as they dislike criminals, in reality, they are still people. There were also reports of men and high school boys being assaulted by a leopard on the streets at night, making the public scared to go alone after dark. If that's not the worst, children and teens across the globe started having nightmares of the Honkai, attacking them or tearing them apart, leaving scratches and bruises, and marriages were also falling apart, wives and girlfriends discovering infidelities decided to divorce and abandoned their husbands or boyfriends, people started to blame the Honkai, thinking they're demons meant to destroy and sabotage their lives.

As for mutants, who have survived, as much they pitied humanity, didn't like the idea of them being slaughtered for their hate towards them. Sentinel factories along with Master Mold were destroyed to prevent sentinels from being built.

During a meeting with the President and the governors of the other countries, including King T'Challa of Wakanda, and Namor, the King of Atlantis, the Avengers, and the X-men have discussions about the fate of Minerva who is in a coma back at the X-mansion. The governors have voted for her to be locked away, the Avengers locked her up with S.H.I.E.L.D monitoring her, or the X-men would have to keep her at the Institute for help. All votes have come to a close, and the Judge has chosen Minerva to be placed in the X-men's custody for psychological sessions.

This allows the X-men to show her that the world is still their home and to make her smile.

However, the topic of Bailey's heritage was taped over. Doctors have confirmed that Bailey is Anastasia Costa's daughter, her caregivers in New Jersey mentioned that Anastasia has been dead for five years, and didn't mention her father because no one would believe them. Of course, for the worst, Anastasia's ex-husband hated her and blamed Bailey for her mother abandoning him and taking her life, she couldn't care less about her mother's relatives as she started to disown them because of their actions in the past, which made them baffled, and she started to curse at them, shocking everyone, including the X-men, expect Emma found it amusing.

Akira was also Minerva's protege, and like Bailey, she was born out of wedlock by her mother who also abandoned her cheating ex-husband, and then disowned her mother's relatives, much to their dismay and regret, she didn't care and called the ex-husband a disgraceful son of a bi**** and his mistress an sl** and a bi****, which enrages him, but she flips him and says, "Suck it up, bruh".
