Chapter 7

They all ended up in Hades' room helping him pack his stuff, he didn't need to bring much because he would be getting his body fixed immediately once he got there and would need new things after. The group cast protection spells on his art supplies before packing them so that they wouldn't get damaged and did the same for all of his new books that he was bringing with him.

Hades and Lucius sorted out all of the documentation that he would need to get there and anything he might need once he got there, he was also taking a muggle airplane so that it would be harder to track if anyone did find out that he left willingly. Marvolo went to his office and returned with his Gringotts card which he put with all of the other important documents.

When they had finished packing the room looked the same except for some obvious empty spaces and Marvolo said that his room would stay the same for when he was ready to come back. All of Hades' friends came over and he spent time with everyone, together and separately trying to soak up all he could before he didn't see them for years.

Marvolo and Severus took it the hardest, Draco and the rest of his friends knew that this would happen eventually when Hades had told them that his life had been spared so they had already accepted it but the older two were not ready to let go. Marvolo and Hades had gotten incredibly close over the summer after his sanity was restored and Severus had been the one to constantly check on Hades after he was set up and Marvolo was figuring things out and they had stayed close as well.

They both knew that this was something that Hades needed but it didn't make it easier to let him go for years without seeing him, they had seen him at his absolute worst, begging to be killed and they were worried that something might happen and they wouldn't be able to get to him.

The last two days before Hades left were spent with everyone trying to keep up a happy facade even though they were anxious about Hades' leaving, they all wanted to be supportive. Hades' could see through them though and he knew they were all nervous and he couldn't do much to reassure them now but after he got to Australia and started healing he could figure it out.

When it came time to leave there were many hugs and tears all around, Marvolo, Severus and Lucius didn't get a hug because they were taking Hades to the airport to see him off. Everyone said their goodbyes and the four went into the floo before they apparated to an alley near the airport where they wouldn't be seen.

Hades' put on his backpack and his shrunken trunk was in his duffle bag which was packed with clothes to appear normal even though he wouldn't be wearing any of them. They covered his scar with a glamor and changed his appearance so that it would be harder to recognize him and then they all walked into the airport and headed to security to get him checked in.

Lucius handled all of the documents while Marvolo and Severus were trying to soak up as much time as they could before Hades left. They had already coordinated with the school and the Headmaster would be picking Hades up once he landed and taking him to the goblins to start the healing process immediately in the time bubble.

After getting through security, they all walked to the gate where the plane would be boarding and stood there awkwardly for a moment before Hades launched himself at Lucius, hugging him tightly. He repeated the treatment with both Severus and Marvolo before they all brought him into a group hug where they all basked in the comfort and safety of each other, not knowing when they would get to do this again.

"I can never thank you all enough for what you have done for me and are planning on doing for me and I will miss you guys more than I thought I would. Thank you for giving me this, I know it's hard for all of you, more so than my friends but when I come back you will see what I mean much better than any words I could tell you. I promise to write to you as often as I can, even though school will keep me pretty busy, I won't forget any of you or what you've done for me." Hades' voice was slightly muffled but they could all still hear him perfectly clear.
