Chapter 4

As Draco left Hadrian's room, he left the door cracked open slightly and took a seat close enough to the door so that he could peer inside if it was needed. The four adults all took various chairs around the room before staring at the blonde boy expectantly, having no idea what just happened. Draco sighed when he saw all of the looks but launched into his tale quietly to not wake up Hades.

"I assume that you all know the we don't hate each other now considering you watched the memory crystal," They all looked at Draco shocked at how he knew that, "We have all known for days, he sent us each a letter stating what he was about to do when he was in Gringotts so that we would know what happened and how to act accordingly. He was a very good actor when we met but I could see the intelligence in his eyes, it was slightly overshadowed by the haunted look but it was clear to me that he was filing away information and making mental notes of any threats. We talked briefly after I introduced myself where he made a split second decision and let me in on his plan. I knew that I was going into Slytherin and there was no doubt in my mind that he should have as well, so we needed a way to get him into Gryffindor.

The only way that we could converse was when we started the rivalry, it was a sort of code between us that the others learned later on, but we could never talk in the open because of his two leeches with the third coming a year later. His fourth year was the worst, his emotions were out of control and because he has never been good with emotions, he didn't realize how bad things had gotten. The only people who know are people that are in the group and people we would trust with our lives. Neville, Luna, Blaise, Pansy, Theo, Daphne and the Weasley Twins are all family and they recognize the signs of breakdowns and how to handle them just like I do. "

"We have all helped him as much as we could, the twins would feed us information that they gathered when they were at the Burrow, Neville and Luna would distract the annoying trio so that he could have quiet, and the Slytherin's and myself would start the fights to try and give him a way to escape from them."

"All of us have experience in helping him with his depression but most of the time, he pushes it down until it gets so overwhelming that it takes over which results in how he is right now, considering it only makes it worse when he does. We make sure he eats because sometimes he doesn't have the energy or most foods sound unappealing, we've helped him with panic attacks and helped him leave when he was in sensory overload."

"We have all had many sleepovers where we either snuck into his dorms or he snuck into ours, we are all very affectionate with him, whether it be holding his hand, cuddling, laying in our laps or us laying in his, carrying him, playing with his hair, things like that. He was never given affection but once he gets comfortable around you, he craves it, it's a need for him along with constant validation or praise which is a byproduct of that facility he was in."

"The ring that I pressed on when I stepped into the room is something that we all have and it has multiple things on it including alarms that will notify us if he needs something, it can summon everyone or specific people as well as send messages. It works that way for everyone like if I studied late and forgot to eat, it will tell everyone else. The reason you never saw any of this in his memories is because we removed specific memories from his mind, at his request, so that he could still remember certain things even if they were obliviated." Draco took a breath because he knew this next part would be difficult to talk about.

"Hades has helped us all, never expecting anything in return because he believes that he doesn't deserve it and that nobody would want to help him either. When Luna got bullied, he was there to hold her when she cried, when Theo's father beat him, Hades was there to heal him while they both cursed the man out, when Daphne had a panic attack he was right there helping her breathe. When people made fun of Pansy because she didn't look girly, he was right there telling her that she was beautiful, when Blaise's stepfather hit him both him and Theo were there to heal him while vowing to murder him if his mother didn't get there first. When the twins parents never cared or called them names, he was there to tell them that one day they will succeed and their family will seethe with envy, when Neville's grandmother tried to make him more like his father, Hades showered him in plants and told him that we like him how he is. And when I was so overwhelmed with everything that I started to break down, he was there to whisper encouragement to me and help in any way that he could."
