Cyra sent Fiona a text as soon as she and Jino began walking. It started with mentioning who she was with. Fiona sent a few GIFs showing her excitement. This was something they talked about for the past couple of weeks. Cyra had the mindset that if she were going to change her life's path, it had to start with her doing something she certainly wasn't used to. One of those things was approaching a person she found attractive and striking up a conversation.

This isn't exactly how she envisioned this going. Having inhuman abilities tends to do things before you're ready. If there's one person who's going to understand that, it's Jino. Maybe this will give her the answers she's, at this point, desperately looking for. She told herself not to stress about it. While she's awake, she lives up to that. When she's asleep she's reminded of it. Only to force herself to forget the moment she opens her eyes. If she hadn't, she and Fiona would have been making daily trips to their favorite spot.

Jino took a seat with a long exhale that puffed out his cheeks. He wasn't nervous to be with her. The exact opposite. What he was worried about was if this could lead to repeating something. He and his brothers would rather not relive the past four years. He hoped that Cyra was the opposite. A saving grace. A moment, or even a lifetime, of peace.

"Jino?" Cyra made him snap out of his trance.

"Sorry, I was remembering something." he took a deep breath before continuing. "Let's start with who we are."

"You should go first. Explaining what I am is slightly complicated." Cyra nervously chuckled.

"Alright..." Not many have learned what he is. Only those with supernatural abilities (like werewolves) have been able to figure it out. "I'm a vampire."

Cyra looked at him with shock. "I certainly wasn't expecting that answer. It's more confusing that you are a vampire."

"How so?" is she not one herself? How else could they do what they're doing and have these things happen to them?

"I'm not a vampire. I'm..." At this moment, the weight of someone else having this knowledge aside from Fiona, felt heavier than Annabeth Chase holding the sky. "Well, the easier way to explain it is that I'm a divinely made demi-goddess?"

Cyra has never been able to figure out how to explain it. Not without it sounding absolutely bonkers. It's why she's been grateful for Fiona's understanding. Aside from the traditional way that demi-gods and demi-goddesses are made, it is rare that or is just gifted the ability to be one by gods and goddesses themselves.

"Divinely made?" Jino had every right to question it.

"Something happened when I was eighteen that had me meet with the Greek gods and goddesses. There's a purpose for me and they gifted me my powers." Cyra shrugged, hoping he understood. Vampires can't have kids. There's no way Jino was born this way.

"I do understand," he said softly, looking at her with sympathy. Almost as if he were sad on her behalf.

Anything you say to me won't sound insane. I promise.

Jino suddenly felt the heat radiating between them. He thought it was just their connection until he placed a hand on hers. She was scorching hot to the touch. He almost pulled away but decided against it. Meeting her temperature with his ability to create fire. Making it comfortable for both of them. Cyra felt the change and looked him in the eyes. Her shock returned, but all Jino did was smile.

"You weren't the only one given a specific gift." his smile widened.

Cyra looked around quickly to see if anyone was watching. The moment she saw that there wasn't, she lifted their hands and let the small flames erupt. Knowing exactly what she was doing, Jino matched her, making the flames a bit bigger. They looked at their hands in amazement. To be able to use their abilities without someone getting burned made their hearts leap with joy. For a moment, they could freely show their true identities.
