Cyra woke up the next morning feeling as though she drank herself to sleep. Who knew dreams, visions, whatever the hell that was... could make one feel such a way. Coffee. She desperately needed coffee. Then she's going to text Jino when she can form more than a checklist of things she needs to do before a functioning human in society.

Coffee.
Text Jino.

I can hear you. Good morning, love. Jino spoke softly, knowing her pain. It was messing with his head too.

Coffee.

Good morning, handsome. Thank you for communicating softly. A soft smile made its way onto her face. Never mind. No need to text him. Her feet were like dragging cement blocks. Hard to move and you currently have no strength to lift.

Coffee.

No problem. Also, handsome? His chuckle made her half-awake heart flutter. He could sense her mood and he gave a lazy smile.

You called me 'love'. Cyra shrugged as if he could see it.

Common term one uses when they are attracted to someone. Can you blame me? You called me handsome. Jino jokes.

Touché. I'll text you in a bit.

Right as Jino said his goodbye, Cyra heard laughter from the kitchen. She shrugged it off, thinking that maybe Fiona was on the phone with Heli. She had no clue what time Fiona got home last night, but considering she was up before her, it couldn't have been long after the movie ended. She stopped in her tracks at the doorway to their kitchen when she saw Fiona sitting on the counter and Heli kissing her.
Fiona wasn't in her clothes and Heli wasn't in his. She was in his shirt from last night and a pair of silk pajama shorts. He was wearing a pair of Fiona's sweatpants and her shirt from a concert they went to a few months ago.

When they pulled apart, Heli nodded with a smile. "Good morning Cyra!"

"Hey! You're up! Good morning!" Fiona turned her head and flashed a smile that Cyra knew all too well.

The turn made her dark hair fall off her shoulder, revealing the pinkish-purple mark on her olive-toned tan skin. Two lines on the outer edges. Cyra was about to be shocked until she remembered what Jino said. Heli is his older brother. He's a vampire as well. The shock subsided quickly. Fiona likely knows considering he marked her without puncturing her.

"Morning! You two had a good night?" Cyra gave Fiona a knowing smirk.

"Yeah. It was great! The movie was good. It got kinda late so I invited Heli to stay the night." Fiona explained. "You're not mad are you?"

"Not at all! Better safe than sorry." Heli didn't see it but Cyra wiggled her eyebrows up and down with a mischievous smile at Fiona after putting the pod in the coffee maker.

"You're right. Have you spoken with my brother at all? I kind of forgot to let them know where I was." Heli gave an  'oops' look after he turned around.

Found your brother. He's safe. Cyra laughed down their connection.

He never stays at anyone's house. Jino explains.

Late movie and uhh... how does she explain this without it being exactly what it probably was?

I get the picture, love. He laughs.

"Just did. No worries. He knows." Cyra gave an innocent smile.

"What did you tell him?" Fiona gave a worried look.

"All I said was that he was here and safe." Cyra finished making her coffee and hummed with the first sip.

"That's all?" Heli looked shocked.
