Riley pov
I was is the cafeteria with Val and the others waiting for the new members of the fire hawks (I forget what there called) it was only 2 more minutes before we had to go get our stuff before the next class.
While I was getting my stuff I looked at my mirror in my locker and blew a piece of hair to the side before getting an email, I look at my phone and it was the people who made the team, I looked through and saw my name on the list of people who made it on (which was only her and one other person)
I felt a rush of joy go over me as I smile very big,
"Hey Minnesota what's got you all smiley face"
Val said, I looked at her
"I made the team"
I exclaimed, Val and I jump for joy
"We totally need to celebrate"
Val said
"Yeah ofc"
I said still very happy Val hugs me and says
"See you later then Minnesota"
She yelled while walking away
"Yeah see ya"
I said while finishing up with my locker and go to my next class
