Vikrant was busy with making dinner but his mind was wandering somewhere else. His thought were only about Avani.

He did not once see Avani after the event. He got a chance to go in the staff room to keep the bouquet and chocolates.

While he kept that everyone in the room was looking at him with suspicious eyes like what was he even doing but he cared less.

Vikrant thought this was the best idea to make Avani forgive him. He was just waiting for tomorrow restlessly to know whether he was forgiven or not.

"Vikrant" Vikrant was startled as Ranvijay shouted on his ears. "Bhai why are you shouting that to in my ears" Vikrant said while keeping his hand on his heart.

"You were lost in your lala land so I had to shout" Ranvijay said as he examined Vikrants expression as again he was lost.

"Vikrant is everything okay you seem very lost today" Ranvijay asked and Vikrant shaked his head as no. "It's really nothing so don't worry let's eat"

Vikrant and Ranvijay sat on the dinner table. "How was your first day" Ranvijay asked. "It was very good and the students are also very passionate about football. It was fun"

Vikrant said smiling while remembering his day at the college. The memories of Avani too came in his mind. Vikrant noticed that Ranvijay wanted to say something but was hesitating.

"Bhai you can tell me anything without any hesitation" Ranvijay nodded and sighed. "I am getting married next week"

This made Vikrant choke on his food. Ranvijay passed a glass of water. "So early and I don't even know who the girl is and is she good or you know-

Ranvijay cut him inbetween "Stop Vikrant you don't have to check the girl's background as I have already checked and moreover I actually like her"

Ranvijay lied to Vikrant. He had no other choice but to do this. He clearly knew that Vikrant will never agree with him on getting married. That's why he had to lie to him about this.

"Bhai you really like her or you are lying to me so that I don't research on her" Vikrant asked cause he too knew his brother very well.

"No Vikrant it's not like that and this I really want to get married. I want to settle down this time" Ranvijay said while masking a smile.

Vikrant nodded but somewhere he too knew Ranvijay was just lying. Just like they talked and had their dinner.

(The Next Day)
Vikrant was already standing at the college terrace impatiently waiting for Avani. He was getting anxious every passing minute.

"Maybe she didn't forgive me" thinking this Vikrant was going down when Avani came while breathing heavily.

"Wait please don't go" she said inbetween her breaths and Vikrant asked her to clam down. "Do you need water?" Vikrant asked her she shaked her head as no.

Avani's breathing became normal and she said "Sorry for coming late" Vikrant nodded. They both were standing in silence thinking what to speak when Vikrant said with excitement

"Wait this means that you forgive" there was happiness in Vikrant's voice while Avani nodded. "I thought wrong about you so sorry for that also"

Right now Vikrant was on cloud nine cause Avani forgave him. Vikrant thought that this was the perfect opportunity to ask her to be friends with him.

"So can we be friends" Vikrant asked forwarding his hand for a handshake. Avani was in her thoughts whether to accept it or not when Vikrant took his hand back.

"I believe friendships should start with hugs and not handshakes" Avani said and no seconds Vikrant hugged her with a force with made her stumble a little.

"Thankyou so much and I am once again so sorry for yesterday" he said while Avani too hugged him back.

They were standing in the same position for sometime and then backed away. "I will replace your phone too" Vikrant said.

"No need I got it repaired" Avani said while showing him phone. Little did they know that someone was watching them and they were going to get famous in the college for......
