She had moved here alone from her home country, Valtania, a few days ago. The distance from her family and friends was daunting, but her love for music and education brought her to this new chapter.
Yara's long, curly brown hair cascaded down her back as she walked towards her new school, Oakwood High. Her bright green eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and nerves. She carried her favorite guitar case and a backpack full of books and supplies.
As she entered the school building, the receptionist greeted her warmly and directed her to her new class. Yara's heart raced as she walked into the classroom, her eyes scanning the unfamiliar faces.
