After a few days of rest and recovery, Yara returned to school. It was a quiet, uneventful Friday, and the day dragged on without much excitement. As the final bell rang, Yara gathered her things and headed home, looking forward to a relaxing weekend.
On her way home, she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following her. She glanced over her shoulder a few times but saw nothing suspicious. Deciding not to let it bother her, she kept her pace steady and soon reached her house.
Yara: thinking to herself "Maybe I'm just being paranoid."
She unlocked the door, stepped inside, and immediately grabbed a metal bat from behind the door. She spun around, ready to defend herself, but her eyes widened in shock when she saw her friends standing there, grinning.
RM: "Surprise, Yara!"
Yara: "What are you all doing here?!"
Jin: "We thought we'd spend the weekend together. You know, to thank you for everything."
Yara: sighing "You could have just called instead of scaring me half to death."
Jungkook: "Where's the fun in that?"
Despite her initial hesitation, Yara finally let them in. She soon realized it was a decision she would come to question. The house quickly descended into chaos.
J-Hope: "Hey, Yara! Do you have any snacks?"
V: from the living room "This movie is awesome! Come join us!"
Suho and Kai were exploring her house, while Chanyeol and Baekhyun took over the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge.
Yara: exasperated "Guys, please, try not to make a mess!"
Jimin: "Don't worry, we'll clean up. Right, guys?"
Suga: lying on the couch "Sure, sure. Later."
Yara found herself in the kitchen, cooking for everyone. She peered into the living room and saw members of both groups scattered around, some watching TV, others napping, and a few just lounging about.
Yara: "I never liked having so many people around, but... I kind of like it this time."
D.O.: "Hey, Yara, your house is really nice. Mind if we check out your bedroom?"
Yara: "As long as you don't make a mess."
A few minutes later, she heard laughter and loud music coming from her bedroom.
Yara: shouting "What's going on in there?!"
Tao: "We found your old music collection! You have great taste!"
Despite the chaos, Yara found herself enjoying the company. She was stirring a pot on the stove when there was a sudden knock at the door. She wiped her hands on a towel and went to answer it.
Yara: muttering to herself "Who could that be now?"
She opened the door and froze. Standing there was the last person she expected to see.
