Chapter 6: The small bunny and the two-faced Tiger

"Well then, let's see my fiancé, shall we?"

As Helios entered the Decroix mansion, he can see the servants bow to him and one of them had politely asked them to follow her.

Helios was excited to see how his first meeting with his fiancé would go, he has never seen his little fiancé face ever so he was quite intrigued.

As they walk down the hallways, he had noticed the lack of portraits of his little fiancé and was slightly intrigued since there was a lot of pictures of Alessio and Lucius from childhood to adult.

A few minutes later, they had arrived in Lucius office as the maid opened the door and Helios can see both Lucius and Alessio was there but there was no sign of his little fiancé.

Lucius looks up from his paperwork and scowled slightly at the sight of the crowned prince infront of him. "You're quite early, Your highness....I thought you'll be visiting next week?" Asked Lucius as he kept his emotionless stare.

"Well, I just can't wait to see my fiancé. It is our first meeting afterall" replied Helios as he smirked in excitement. Helios did say in his letters that he would be visiting next week but he was too intrigued to wait, and so he had visited a week early.

Alessio can't keep his face straight as he rolled his eyes in annoyance knowing how fake the Crowned prince is. "We told you, you could visit only next week since our little brother is still resting from the incident that had happened 3 weeks ago" Alessio said frustratedly, both Lucius and Alessio was keeping Ark away from this two faced tiger by making excuses but this fucker was as stubborn as a bull.

'such a pain in the ass' thought both Alessio and Lucius in annoyance.

"Haha, I know but I'm quite eager to meet him and it would be very rude to send me away quickly without even letting me see him. If you could give me an hour with my little fiancé, I'll be on my merry way" replied Helios with a coy smile.

'This son of a bitch' Lucius can feel a vein pop out of his forehead from anger.

Lucius knew the prince was playing a game with them and was just testing the waters to see if they would snapped.

"Fine you can see him but for only an hour, nothing more" Lucius grumbled frustrated, Alessio eyes widened in shock to see his older brother had allowed the prince to meet with their youngest brother.

Helios can't help grinned in excitement. "Excellent! I'll be waiting in the common room" after Helios had said that, he then walk out of Lucius' office leaving the two Decroix alone again.

Alessio look at his brother baffled and confused that he had complied to Helios's demands. "Why did you allow him to meet Ark? You know that bastard is a two faced asshole"

Lucius scowled also as he gritted his teeth "I know and that bastard also knew that if we stop him that means disrespecting him."

Both Lucius and Alessio knew that disobeying or disrespecting the royalties means heavy punishment for them which leave to no choice but to let him meet their little brother.

Even though it greatly frustated them.

Helios is now waiting for the arrival of his little fiancé, he knew the Decroix brothers wouldn't be able to deny him or else it would lead to bigger consequences and Helios was living it.

"Stop gloating like a peacock, Your highness...I can see you shining with glee." Marquis Thomas scolded him while reading a book.

This made Helios smirk more "what can I say? It's not everyday I can annoy Lucius to death and today I get to see him slightly snap."

Thomas just shook his head in disappointment but didn't say anything to the crown prince, sometimes Helios is too childish that Thomas just wanted to smack him with the book he's holding.

"Don't rub it to their face, the youngest Decroix was hidden away, maybe they have a reason for it."

It's true, no one had seen the Youngest Decroix as he was especially hidden, not even Lucius or Alessio would say a word about the youngest Decroix, everyone knew about him but not his appearance nor personality. He was a mystery everyone in nobility was trying to solve.

Helios just rolled his eyes as he twirl his tea, "ah at least I get to have fun with them for a bit."

Meanwhile, Arkian was hanging around his hidden garden, deep in the Ducal estate, he had been taking care of it since he was young and his favorite was the huge hanging wisteria tree that towers all the flower bed. It was a secret heaven for him.

He was painting the small pond that was filled with koi fish and swans just swimming there when a servant called to him making him turn

"Young Master, the crown prince is here to visit you" the maid, Aria said softly while smiling gently.

Arkian look at her as he blink softly, his soft white short fluffy hair frames his silver doe eyes as flowers were decorating his hair.

"Oh....where is he now?" Arkian asked softly but inside his mind, he was panicking.

How is Helios here?!

He's supposed to visit him next month according to the plot!

This is getting weirder and weirder! First his brothers, then the unexpected visit of the crown prince. The one who killed him in his first life!

Aria just smiled softly and pat his head, "The crown prince is waiting for you at the common room, Young Master"

Arkian just sigh helplessly before nodding as he smiled gently.

"Very well ...I'll be there in a few minutes" Ark said softly defeated.

The maid then left him there as Arkian just rub his temple.

He doesn't want to meet Helios, as much as Arkian wanted to run away, he knew his brothers had put a hidden guard watching him secretly, he was put in constant surveillance and his every move is being stalked.

He needs to find a way to break off his engagement with Helios. One way or another.

He got up from his seat and left his half finished painting there as he walk back inside the manor.

In a few minutes, he was standing outside of the common room as he was filled with hesitation.

'Come on Ark...you can do it...you have faced death and had come back, what's the worst that could happened?' he then knocked softly before entering the room. As he entered, he then locked eyes with the one and only male lead.

"Ah, you must be Arkian, I'm Helios Noxius Secro, your fiancé."
