Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Back to the beginning where it had ended

"Young Master, are you awake?"

The voice was heard outside Ark's door and he slightly jumped before realizing where he was and looking at his slightly smaller hands that belong to a ten years old but he wasn't ten years old, he's 14 years old at this time, he knows what will happen.

"I'm back?" As Ark realized this, he began spiralling again, NononononoNO! This isn't happening! Why is he here?! How is he back?! What about his big brother Lloyd?! He have to go back! But how? How? He isn't supposed to be here.....

"Young Master? Are you awake now?" The voice called out again making Ark snapped out of his panic attack "oh...um ..Yes! Please come in" Ark slightly cringed at his young slightly childish voice.

The butler named, Xedric then entered as he look at Ark blankly and stated "Good morning Young Master, breakfast is ready now, the masters requested your presences at the dining room"

Ark's eyes widen as he look at the butler stupefied.....What?...Alessio and Lucius wants to eat with him? That's ridiculous! Why would they eat with him? Maybe, they need something from him....that might be it and so he said, "I'll be down in a minute" making the butler bow down then left

Ark got up from his bed as he look around the room, it was his room.... nothing changed....it was still the same since the last time he saw it....he needs to do something.....his poor older brother Lloyd, he must be worried for him, he needs to find a way to go back to his big brother, 'not Lucius and Alessio'  he then got dressed properly...he was back in his 14 years old body now that he saw it....it was.....frail.... Well much more weak than he remembered.... He then snapped out of his daydream and walk towards his door... 'its now or never'.

he then opened it and walk the manor hallways, he was slight confused 'the manor was much bigger than he remembered' well he can't blame it...he doesn't want to go back here. He have to find a way to go back to Lloyd....

Arriving at the dining room, the door opened and inside Alessio and Lucius was eating breakfast while  talking quietly and Ark heard a small but beautiful laugh, Ark knew this scene...he knew it because he would be kicked out of there....

They were eating breakfast with the protagonist, Eros Sael. A son of a baron who had captured the heart of both his brothers and his fiancé. Ark frowned but didn't have a choice but to go in. He saw his brothers and Eros look at him but Ark didn't bother as he sat far away from them and started eating quietly.

"..."

"..."

Cough, Ark look up from his food and saw his ex brothers looking at him with a slight troubled and confused look, "Aren't you going to greet us Arkian?" Asked Alessio, his second older brother...what? Greet them? Are they waiting for him to greet them? Why would they wait for him to greet them?... they're acting weird..

"oh..um good morning Duke Lucius, Commander Alessio and Young Master Eros" Ark greeted them quietly but was still heard by them as he continued to eat, side eying their reaction, he saw both Lucius and Alessio was frowning at his greeting,

'didn't he greeted them like he always greeted them?' Ark was confused but didn't delved deeper into it and just continued eating...still he can feel their stares and it was so hard to swallow....why are they still looking at him?...

Eros then break the tension by grabbing their attention making Ark sigh in relief secretly. He owed the protagonist a small favor. Ark then finished his breakfast and grab his plate out of habit to bring to the kitchen making the maids panicked

"Young Master! Where are you bringing the plate?" One of the maids panickly asked seeing him carrying his plate.

"To the...kitchen?..." Ark answered but the maid gently took the plate and pat his head "you don't have to do that Young Master, it's our job to do that" Ark then realized again....ah right.... he's not with his big brother Lloyd now. It was put in his mind that he should always put his plate on the kitchen sink when he lived with Lloyd... He didn't mean to do that.

Screeech

Ark and the maid jumped slightly as they look behind and saw Lucius bending his fork while looking at him and the maid 'creepy, too creepy' Ark fearfully thought before briskly giving them farewell as he ran off to his room before closing it.....that was...intense but still he noticed something different from Lucius...why does Ark feels like he's glaring at the maid who was patting his head? No no...that must be his imagination....right?.... He have to think for a way to go back to Lloyd....he would do anything.... whatever it takes to go back...

In Lucius' office, Lucius was slightly fuming, a dark aura was surrounding him as Alessio tried to calm him. After Ark fled the breakfast, they quickly sent off Eros back to his manor which shocked the servants and Eros himself but still complied. Lucius quickly stormed off to his office as he recalled how Ark look at him and greeted them... He look at them fearfully and the way he greeted them, its like he's greeting a stranger, not his brothers.... Lucius recalls how Ark always greeted them in the past.

'good morning big brother Luci, big brother Lessi'

'hello big brother...'

'um...goodnight big brother'

'Where the hell are those greetings now?' Lucius thought...he knew he always give cold shoulders to Ark...but still he doesn't knew when Ark looks so big now...how old is he now?....10?...12?... 9?... It was off...Ark looks bigger than the last time they saw him...which was......years ago.....huh, they really didn't know much about him.

"Lucius why are you so angry today? You even sent off Eros" Alessio question him concernedly, Lucius just look at Alessio before asking him, "Alessio, how old is Arkian?"

Alessio blink as he look at Lucius blankly ' huh? Is he asking me?' Alessio thought that Lucius was acting weird "Dunno...8 I guess?" Alessio shrugged but secretly asked himself also, 'how old is Arkian?'

Both brothers were conflicted about it when a maid entered Lucius' office to bring his tea, Alessio then asked the maid "You...how old is Arkian?"

The maid blink softly before answering truthfully "Young Master Ark is now 14, My lord, he turned 14 last week" she then left after she finished setting up both their teas and pastries

Alessio and Lucius can't believe it....Arkian was 14? But he looks smaller to be 14..... He just turned fourteen last week....why did no one told them?...he should have been introduced to the other nobles by now....

Both brothers were conflicted....they....they really don't know that much about Arkian.... They should talk to him later....

It's not like it would go wrong right?
