CHAPTER FOUR
Han Solo & Leia Organa

Penny made sure that Leia's gift was hidden away so no one would go near it. She smiled as she tucked it away from everything, then she went over to the Forman's through the basement. Gwen had told her ahead of time what Leia's birthday present was from all of them. And suddenly, they were all as high as kites.

"Guys, I love it. How did you know my size?"

"We got you an extra large so we can enjoy it too." Gwen grinned.

"Is this chair too small?" Ozzie asked.

"Just give Leia our birthday card already." Nikki told Nate.

"Inside cat. Outside cat. Inside cat. Outside cat. Ins—"

Nikki ripped the card from Nate's hands, "no more cat."

"I missed you guys. Especially you, Penny! My sad hole was lonely without you."

"Why were you in a sad hole?" Penny asked.

"Because I haven't seen you in the day... wait, how many days?!" Leia questioned. "How many times do you turn 15 in your life? Not that many. New year, new me."

"New Kids On The Block." Gwen sang.

    "I over-corrected."

"What's this? You spelled my name wrong on this card. How do you not know how to spell your own girlfriend's name?"

"Let me see that. Nik!" Nate exclaimed, going after Nikki.

"People are leaving? I just got this right."

Penny smiled and looked at Leia. "You missed me?" She asked.

    —

"You're buying us lunch on your birthday?" Gwen asked.

Penny happily ate her cheeseburger. "I felt like I needed to thank you guys for everything. I'm going to have a great birthday."

"Jay and Serena just walked in." Gwen noted, making Penny look up.

"Ah, so that's the new girl, huh? Haven't seen her around ever." Penny mused.

"You know what, I'm gonna go over there and say hi." Then Leia stood up. "How's it going, turkeys?"

"I like her body language. Strong, assertive."

"She called them 'turkeys'." Penny told Gwen.

"She just picked up a pickle."

"So today's my birthday. New year, startin' fresh. The big one-five."

"Aww, that's so cute! I barely even remember turning 15. I think I was in the Bahamas."

"I don't like her." Penny said.

Leia invited them to her birthday party and sat down with a sigh escaping her lips. "I just ruined my birthday. This is where you're supposed to tell me I didn't just ruin my birthday."

    "But you did."

"This pickle's bad luck!" Leia exclaimed, throwing the pickle on the table.

"Don't put your demon pickle near me." Ozzie said.

Penny shrugged, taking the pickle and eating it. "I already have bad luck, besides I'm hungry."

    —

It was time for Leia's party and Penny had her gift tucked away. Penny looked around and then she saw Leia struggling in high heels. The guy — apparently Leia's other grandpa — was starting up the karaoke machine and Leia walked over to stand beside Penny, away from eyes.

"Wrong song, but, hey, the show must go on."

"What is he doing?" Penny asked Leia.

"I'd like to dedicate this song to my beautiful granddaughter, Leia. This one's for you."

    "Oh no."

"We'll ride it out together." Gwen said.

    "Yeah." Penny agreed.

Leia took both of their hands, feeling a spark the second she touched Penny's hand. Leia's grandpa thought it was a birthday song. It was not.

"Wanna get some air?" Red asked Leia.

    "Yes."

"I'm going to the kitchen." Penny told Gwen.

After a few minutes, Red walked back in, then told her to go talk with Leia and to save herself from hearing Bob try to sing again. Penny happily listened to the advice and grabbed the paper bag with Leia's gift and went outside.

    "Hey."

"Hey, back." Leia replied. "My grandpa got me my dad's car."

    "The Vista Cruiser, huh?"

    "You know it?"

"Jay's parents knew yours and they talk about it all the time." Penny explained. "Oh, right." Penny handed her the bag as they sat on the hood of the car. "I didn't really know what to get you, but Nikki said it would be a good idea."

Leia opened the bag and saw a simple yet cute candle and smiled. "It's really cool. Oh, look at the little designs on there!" Leia gushed.

"Happy birthday, Leia Organa." Penny told her.

Leia turned to look at Penny with a smile, then she placed the candle down, cupped the sides of Penny's face as she kissed her on the lips. Then she pulled away. "Thanks, Han Solo."

    Both girls laughed softly.

Fun fact, Penny watched Star Wars when she found out Leia was named after Leia Organa

And... they kissed!!
