Tic-Tac-Toe (Luxsoka)

Lux's pov

I slowly entered the garden only to see something that made my jaw drop. A girl, a togruta girl to be specific was standing there. I was angered...yet curious as to who she was.

I softly called out to her, "Hello."

She rapidly turned around causing her lekku to swing and I saw her hand reach down to her waist. I looked at her belt for a second and gulped down the emerging fear.

"You! You're a jedi!" I all but screamed, both in fear and amazement.

A smug smile came onto her face as she spoke with a clarity I wouldn't expect from anyone, "And you must be Lux Bonteri, you look exactly like your mother." 

"What are you doing here?" I carefully placed my question.

"On Raxus? Or your vacation home?"

"Both." I replied, slowly approaching her.

"You mother is a friend to senator Amidala, correct?" I nod, "She's here to discuss a political issue, I am her escort as well as bodyguard."

"Oh..." I looked her up and down, deciding that she had been telling the truth, "What is your name madam jedi?"

She chuckled before answering, "Ahsoka Tano."

"My name is Lux Bonteri, it's a pleasure to meet you." I replied before remembering she already knew my name.

"I'm aware, Lux. Do you have anything to do around these parts?"

I stared at her for a moment before replying.

"Aren't you on duty?"

"No, no one besides you and your mother know about us."

I frowned for a while, while she just kept smiling.

"Would you like to play a game of tic-tac-toe?" I suggested and she frowned.

"Is that a game native to Onderon? I've never heard of it."

My jaw dropped.

"You have never heard of tic-tac-toe?!" I yelled before apologising, "Well, let me introduce you to a game everyone must play at least once in their lifetime."

She smiled, her fangs resting on her bottom lip, "Okay, how do you play?"

Cut to me spending the next 5 minutes explaining the game before bringing out my wooden set.

Looking at the condition the pieces she commented, "These are as old as you?"

I replied with a smile, "Older."

We played game after game till both of us got bored.

"Got anything else?" She asked, resting back onto the pots behind her.

I thought for a bit before replying, I could feel her eyes burning holes into me, "How about an ice breaker?"

"A... what?"

"Tell me something about yourself and I'll tell you something about me."

She contemplated it for a moment, "Sure let's play."

"Shall I start?" She nods , "I think you're nicer than most people I've met."

Her lekku darken and I frown, wondering whether she's ill.

"You need new company." She declares before playing, "I believe that you are one of my only friends outside the Senate and the Jedi."

I smile at the thought of her enjoying my company.

"Well I'm glad tic-tac-toe can create friendships." I joke.

Her smile broadens, her eyes bright, "Don't forget political issues."
