CHAPTER ONE: FAMILIAR FACES
season 1 episode 2🝮
JAMIE RAN THROUGH THE CORRIDOR, eager to get away from the shouts of the boys behind him. He ran past other kids, dodging and trying not to bump into them. A determined but scared look on his face when he quickly stepped down the stairs.
He glances back to see the bullies still close, jeering and laughing.
When he reaches the next corridor, he looks behind again and doesn't notice a locker door that's open and in his way. To his luck, he runs his forehead into it, causing him to step back and almost fall down. Jamie's hand goes to touch his temple, groaning at the pain he's feeling.
Before he could go and run again, he feels hands drag him, shoving him into the lockers near him. "Nice move, genius. Thought you were smart, huh?" Miles, one of Jamie's now reoccurring bullies, taunted.
Jamie winced at the feeling of his back hitting the locker and how Miles held him against it, Miles' other friends were by him, surrounding Jaime in case he ever escaped.
"Smarter than you idiots." Jamie only responded back, his lip curling up to a smile briefly.
The others roll their eyes and even get offended at his words. Miles lets him go and scoffs. "Big mistake, Winchester." He only says.
Before Jamie could respond, he's met with a punch to the gut by another kid, Bryan. Jamie doubles over, groaning as he does so, the other boys laughing and taunting. He coughs and glances up to speak, sneering at Bryan, "Your punches...are weak."
Miles' face scrunches up in frustration at Jamie's words. The others shove him harder and even land more punches. Jamie tries to shield himself, but he's outnumbered and overpowered. "Maybe this will teach you to keep your mouth shut!" Jamie hears Miles shout.
A final shove sends Jamie sprawling onto the floor, his nose bleeding and his face bruised. The others just laughed and begin to scurry away when they hear the approaching footsteps of teachers and staff.
"Happy Birthday, Winchester!" He hears one of the boys' mocks, reminding Jamie about his upcoming twelfth birthday. They all laugh more at this, making small comments about Jamie while they rush to get away.
Jamie slowly rises up, his back lying against the lockers again, groaning. His fingers go to pinch his nose together to try to stop the bleeding, wincing at the bruise he feels on his face. Jamie is aware of the crap he's going to receive for 'starting' the fight and he's fine with it. The only regret he has is not fighting back more, or even getting the chance to exchange more words with them. It's not like what he wasn't saying anything that was true.

The coolness of the ice pack on Jamie's face relaxed him, he sat in front of the principal's office. 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' by The Clash was playing through the headphones of his Walkman, his fingers on the Walkman tapped along to it, while patiently waiting for Alice.
To his dismay, he had been suspended, something he knew that would piss Alice off due to the fact it was his second suspension in a school he had been attending for a barely a month now.
He had tried to argue that he didn't start the fight, that it was Miles and his stupid friends that did. Especially when it was Miles who caused the first punch but Principal Hammond didn't listen, he never did.
