Abhyudit's POV
"What do you want to say?" I asked father as he was stable now.
"Chandra ka sach, Ab samay hai ki Sab jaan le"
"The truth about her, now is the time everyone knows it", he said and tried to sit up a little, I supported him and helped him to sit properly.
"Choti si thi woh jab uske mata pita ki hatya Hui, Ragini uski badi behn Chandra ko lekar kayi din bhatakne ke baad mere pass aae. Uss din dono khoon se latpat the aur mene tab se unko sambhal ke rakha parathu ab dono hi mere pass nhi"
"She was very small, when her mother and father were killed, Ragini her elder sister ran away with Chandra and after days they reached me. They were covered in blood and I took them in but now I don't have any of them", he said and tears fell from his eye.
I gulped upon hearing the information, I had a hint about this.
"Who are you father?" I asked, I know he isn't a normal man.
"Mei ek samay Mein Pratapgarh ka senapati tha parantu jab mujhe waha se nikal diya gya tab Mei mitti ke bartano ka kaam karne laga"
"I was the commander of Pratapgarh's army but after they threw me out I started the pottery business", he said.
"Woh sab kisi dhurt ka kaam tha, jisne Hume fasaya. Rajdev ke pariwaar ne humare mahal par humla kiya aur dono bachiyo ke samne hi unke maata pita ka vadh kiya. Hume iss sab se anjaan the"
"A trader had tricked me that time. Rajdev had attacked the palace and killed their parents in front of them. I was unaware if all this", he completed.
"So the parents were?" I asked.
He nodded, "Yes, they were our king and Queen".
I sighed, so Rajdev's father had claimed their territory, I knew his past a little but I never knew about Pratapgarh.
"No one knew what had happened to them and he ruled from the shadows until slowly he took full power" .
"Ragini was the first Princess of Pratapgarh. She was a kind soul and very brave. She remembered everything whereas Chandra forgot due to shock. But one day she just disappeared, I searched everywhere but found nothing. At last we had to announce her dead".
"But why were they searching for her when she was dead?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"I don't know", he said and I sighed.
"Take rest, I will bring your daughter back anyhow" I said as I held his hand and hugged him.
Chandrali's POV
"What do you want from me?" I asked my sister, I could hardly recognize her now.
It felt like she was someone I never knew. Her whole personality had changed.
"Freedom", she yelled and shook me, I looked at her bewildered. She seeks freedom?
"What happened to you that night?", I asked her and she stiffened, her eyes closed and she gave me a sharp look before uttering.
