"Why... Why did you do that?"

Minho asked as we returned to the dorm. He directed his question to Changbin.

"I did the best I could with what we had," Changbin replied, a hint of defensiveness in his voice. "I just used the chance we had. if we keep quiet, no one will know." Changbin's expression was one of determined resolve.

"I really didn't push him that hard. I never thought he would fall like that.
I—"
"We know, Minho. No need to explain," one of us interrupted.

"By the way, guys, we all know it's a relief that Chan doesn't remember anything. But the weirdest part is that he actually lost his memory for three whole months," hyunjin added, his tone a mix of disbelief and amusement.

"That hadn't even noted to me before," Felix chimed in.

"Minho, that means all the crazy stuff he did at the bar and other places, the terrifying stunts—he doesn't remember any of it!"

han's POV;

"Agh!!!
He pissed me off, talking so sweet to me like that!"

I.N screamed as he stormed out of the sterile, white hospital room, his face flushed with rage.

I quickly followed him, feeling the tension in the air.

It was the second day after the accident. The scent of antiseptic lingered, mixing with the faint aroma of fresh flowers left by well-wishers. Chan had regained consciousness a day after the incident, but the atmosphere was far from relieved.

"Calm down, Innie. You can't behave like this in a hospital," I said, gently placing a hand on his shoulder, feeling the muscles tense beneath my touch.

"I know, but—did you see the way he smiled and called me his 'bub'?

Huh! Did he forget the fact he didn't talk to us for almost two months?!

Ah hell, yes, he forgot. I forgot that he forgot...

Gosh, this is so creepy, and I'm going to lose my mind for real!"

I.N's voice echoed through the corridor, his eyes blazing with a mix of confusion and anger.

He's not wrong, though...
I thought,
glancing back at the closed door of Chan's room. This whole situation was eerie. Chan acted like nothing had happened, which we expected, yet it still freaked us out.
He asked,

 'Did I do something wrong?'

How should I answer that?

Of course, you did... You did so many terrible things chan...

I answered his question on my mind, feeling a knot of unease tighten in my stomach.

Flashback - 2 months ago...

The dorm was usually a place of laughter and camaraderie, but that day it was filled with a heavy silence. The first time the news broke, it spread like wildfire. Our hearts pounded with anxiety as we waited for Chan to return. The dim light in the living room cast long shadows, making the wait even more unbearable.
"Hyung!! Oh god, are you okay?" We surrounded him as soon as he walked in, his face pale and drawn.

"Don't worry, we know it's not true. You don't even like to drink alcohol. How could they say you went to a bar and took drugs?"
We bombarded him with reassurances, but he said nothing. His eyes were void of their usual spark. He quietly went to his room and shut the door.
