To find Saloni, Shruti again started walking on the same path from which they both had come. After going a little further, Shruti fell into a pit. saloni had also fallen into the same pit. Shruti found saloni but what they saw in front of them made their eyes widen.

There was an underground maze in front of them. They were very surprised to see how such a complex structure could have been built under the earth and who could have built it?There was no way for them to get out of the pit. There was nothing that could help them get out of such a deep pit. "Let us go through this maze. Maybe after crossing it we will find a way out ," said saloni. They started walking. They were trying to get out of that labyrinth but were repeatedly coming back to the same path through which they had just passed. They both decided to separate and find a way out.
Both of them were going back and forth again and again but they were unable to find the way. Now, they were tired. There was not even a little energy left in them. Both of them kept wandering in that confused place for three days.
After 3 days, both of them reached the end of the maze. There, they saw some mysterious thing from which very bright blue light was coming out.

The light was hurting their eyes but still both of them moved forward and picked up that thing. They were surprised to know that the blue light was comig from a map kept there. "Who would have kept a map so carefully? What is so special about it?" asked shruti. "Let's have a look,"said saloni. Saloni opened that map. There were three doors in it. After the last door, a kingdom was visible with a lake in the middle. "Surely this map would be the path to that lost lake that we have been searching for so long", shruti said. " Yes. It must be. As the old lady said, mother nature helped us ," said saloni.

Finally both of them came out of that maze with the map. "Tonight we should rest in this forest. Tomorrow morning both of us will set out on the path shown in the map,"shruti said.
