Chapter 15

I found myself running towards the back of the social hall building. I hate myself for not going to Hyunjin directly when I left earlier. My knees were shaking and my heart is thumping really loud.

I didn't let myself cry this time. I don't want to go to him and see me crying.

In a distance I see Rome confronting Hyunjin while Renz and the other bullies are restraining my boyfriend. Rome held Hyunjin's collar and threw a punch againt him. Hyunjin's specs fell to the ground. He almost fell too because his knee touched the ground but the bullies pull him back to face Rome again.

I curled my fist and marched towards them with my anger boiling. There's pain in my chest seeing how they treat my boyfriend but I didn't pay too much attention to that. I need to save him first!

“Rome!” I shouted.

Rome turned around and saw me. His expression didn't change. He doesn't even feel any guilt or remorse! Renz just smirks while the other bullies mocks me.

Hyunjin kept his head low but I can see the blood at the side of his lips, the small wound on the bridge of his nose, and an emerging discoloration at the side of his eye.

My breath slows down at the sight of him. They did that to him. They already hurt him so many times considering the wounds on Hyunjin's face. I wanted to run and shield him but I also want to confront Rome and hurt him!

“Stay back, (Y/N). You don't want to involve yourself in this.”

“Stop hurting him, Rome! You're crossing the line!”

“Tsk! Crossing the line?” Rome scoffed before holding Hyunjin's collar. “Did this idiot ever thought that he's crossing the line when he starts seeing you, huh? He doesn't know you're mine, (Y/N)? Really?” Rome punched him again making me scream.

I ran over and held him. His eyes are closed and I can see how hurt he is by the way his face contorts. Renz harshly pulled him to stand him back up.

“Don't touch him!” I screamed and attempted to push them away.

I heard Hyunjin cough and when I look down, there's already some blood on the ground. I gasped and start to panic. I fell on my knees as I touch his face. He coughed again and I use my hands to wipe it away from his lips.

“Hyunjin…”

Rome chuckled behind me. I snapped back to him and glare. “You really think this is funny?” My eyes started to water.

“Stand up, (Y/N). A queen doesn't kneel, you know?” Rome harshly pulled me but I refused to stand up.

I pushed him away but he kept touching and attempting to hold me. “Don't make this so difficult, (Y/N)!” Rome shouted making me slap him across the face. The slap I gave him was so strong that his face was put sidewards and his cheek starts to go red.

Rome used his hand to touch his cheek. He then grins before looking at me again. “This is what that loser taught you, huh? Is this what he taught you?!” He pulled me by the hand in so much force that I bumped against his chest.

My eyes widen by the fear he caused me. I've never seen him this violent. He's becoming so different! His hold on my arm is so strong that I'm sure it's going to leave some marks later!

“Beat him, boys. Make sure he doesn't go near (Y/N) again.” Rome instructed the boys behind us.

“What? No! Let go of me!” I shouted and try to get out of his hold when I saw Renz started to attack my boyfriend. He couldn't move nor defend himself because the bullies are still restraining him!
