"YOU GUYS KNOW eachother?" One said, who sat beside Danielle. Danielle nodded eagerly and smiled, "She's my sister."

Their eyebrows raised and they nodded in understanding, "Haerinie, this is Danielle. She's in our class." They were all introduced to eachother and had lunch together. It seemed that Haerin wasn't lying about her friends being in different years. Minji and Hanni are in third year, and Hyein is a first year, leaving her to be the only second year.

They were really nice, so Hannah thought. They had a good sense of humour and were really considerate. She could tell that they really cared for eachother.

"Haerinie finally made a friend all on her own, huh?" Minji teased, smiling at Haerin. The said girl rolled her eyes playfully as she smiled. But, Minji was curious on how she actually managed to. "Usually people think our sweet Haerinie is a cold demon."

Everyone laughed at her dramatic comment, but Hannah knew that it was true. Her smile soon disappeared as she thought about it. "Yeah... I don't understand why, though."

She stared at her food with a straight face. The attention of the table shifted towards Hannah as she spoke, "Even if she was a cold demon, which she isn't, she looks adorable." She began talking more to herself than anyone else, "When i first met her, she looked just like Suki. It surprised me how delicate she looked, just like a kitten. And even just her presence felt comforting..." She looked up from her hands and noticed everyone staring at her. She blushed and waved her hands infront of her face, "Sorry, i got really carried away there." She chuckled nervously.

Hanni laughed, "You're cute."

"Who's Suki?" Danielle asked, looking at her sister curiously. At that, her face held a small smirk.

"My neighbours kitten." Haerin answered, refusing to look at Hannah. Danielle nodded in understanding. "You're right though, Hannah. I only just met her, but she seems really sweet." Danielle said with her usual bright smile.

"You like everyone, Dani." Hannah said with a smile.

"Yeah, so?"

The rest of the day went by quite quickly. She never thought that she'd actually want to go back to school, but there was just something about it that made her excited to come back tomorrow morning.

As she and Danielle walked home, it was silent for the most part, which unsettled Hannah a little. She was so used to having Danielle gush about anything and everything that she forgot how comforting it was just having her sister be there without saying anything.

"A kitten, huh?" Danielle said out of nowhere. Hannah's attention shifted towards her sister and she looked at her curiously. "What're you talking about?"

Danielle looked at her sister with a smirk, "Haerin. You said she reminded you of that cat, Suki, right?"

Hannah looked back at her sister with narrowed eyes, "Um... Yes, i did."

"This morning, i went in your room to borrow your hairbrush. On your desk, i saw a drawing of a kitten in your sketchbook, titled 'Suki'." Danielle explained, "You and Haerin have met before, right? But when?" Although this question seemed harmless, it definitely caught Hannah off guard.

Hannah looked away and stared at the many trees the duo passed, "Saturday. When dad asked me to go to the shops... I got a little lost." She chuckled sheepishly, "There was this small alley, where i found a kitten. Later, i was told her name was Suki. It was where i met Haerin and she told me that."

Danielle laughed whole-heartedly, "Sounds like the start of a romance movie." She looked at Hannah, who blushed and nudged her sister in the shoulder.

"Shut up!" She said as she crossed her arms and pretended to be in a huff. Though behind that, there was a tiny smile.

Later at night, the Marsh family was having dinner on the wooden dining table. "So, you guys decided what club you wanna join?" Their dad asked, eating a big chunk of rice.

Danielle nodded excitedly and started to tell them about their dance team and how it sounded fun. "What about you, Hannah?" He asked, the attention focusing in on her.

She looked at her parents and sisters and scratched her cheek, "Em, maybe art club? I mean, i don't know for sure yet, but, you know, just a thought..."

Her dad smiled at her, "Yeah, sounds great." He said, his mouth half full of food, "Glad you guys're doing stuff you like."

The next morning, it was a little easier to wake up. It was because Hannah was looking forward to going to school today. She still didn't really know why because academics isn't exactly her pride and joy.

Turns out, same goes for Haerin, who just so happens to be her new seatmate. That day was just like the one before; Constant talking about random things while their teachers told them off.

They figured they should stop making it so obvious from now on because their teachers might force them to move seats.

After that, they actually got some work done. Well, by work, it was just notes. But hey, notes are very useful. It means you don't have to go and search for the answer next time.

When school was over, Hannah decided to go to the office to sign up for a club. "What club are you signing up for?" Haerin asked, intruigued. "I really don't know anything about you."

Hannah looked at her as they put their things back into their bags, "I was thinking art club." She said quietly, pushing her chair into place by the table.

Haerin's eyes shone, her face forming into a smile, "So you're an artist?" She hummed to herself, "That's really cool. What kind of art do you like to do?"

Their conversation carried itself all the way to the teachers office. Hannah told her that she prefered sketching, but she also used paints and pastels. She mentioned how she would really like to get into charcoal, too, but she didn't have the supplies.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Haerin." Hannah said as they both waved goodbye. When Haerin disappeared around the corner, Hannah knocked on the door infront of her.

By the time the teacher let her leave, it had already been forty minutes after school hours. Hannah felt exhausted. The said teacher had talked to her about every single club in this school. In precise detail, might i add. In the end, she told him that she wanted to join the art club, which was her first pick from the start.

To say Hannah was excited was an understatement. This club would open a door with access to everything she could imagine. For free... She thought there was no way this could be real.

As she walked home, she stumbled across that same alley way where she met Haerin and Suki. When she and Danielle walked to and from school, they must've taken a diffrerent route.

Hannah turned around when she heared a quiet 'Meow'. There was a small grey kitten, stepping closer to her. She bent down and held out her hand, "Suki." She smiled, petting the kitten gently as it snuggled closer. You don't take long to trust someone, do you?

Footsteps approached from behind her, "Hannah."
