ALEX ENDED UP DRIVING EVELYN to a café so close to her house that they could've walked there in just over five minutes, and parked just outside it.

"I love how organised you are," Evelyn told him as they both got out of the parked car, entering the café to find all eyes on glued to Alex, who ignored her sarcasm.

Surprisingly most people respected their privacy and left them alone, with a small exception for a group of young children who couldn't help themselves, though they both noticed several people with their phones out, filming from a distance.

Evelyn spotted Charles, Lando and Max sitting at a table not too far away and waved at them. Alex looked over his shoulder to see the three drivers, seemingly unbothered by their presence, before looking back at Evelyn, who was now looking through her pockets.

"I forgot my phone," she said, patting herself down.

"I didn't." Alex pulled it out of his pocket and slid it over the table to her, catching a glimpse of her lock screen as he did so. Before Evelyn could take her phone off the table, Alex took it back to get a proper look.

It was a photo of the two at a house party hosted by Max, where Evelyn had emptied an entire bottle of champagne onto Alex's head as a dare from Pierre.

Alex grinned. "I'm honoured that I mean enough to you for you to have me as your lock screen." In return, he showed his to Evelyn, who rolled her eyes.

"You know, I'm not even surprised," she said, looking at the photo of Alex's many cats.

"Don't get me wrong, you mean a lot to me, but cats are cats, you know? They're top priority."

Evelyn raised her eyebrows. "Oh really? Cats or F1?"

"I'm calling it now. They'll get together in the summer break," Max said as the three drivers watched Alex and Evelyn from their table.

Lando considered it for a moment. "If they do, I'll give you a tenner. I'm thinking October-November time."

Charles didn't even hesitate to answer as soon as Lando had finished speaking. "This week. They will get together this week."

Lando laughed at Charles until he realised he was being serious. "You must be desperate to lose your money, Charles. They are 100% not getting together this week. Ev is the most oblivious person to ever exist when it comes to relationships and Alex won't want to ruin the friendship or whatever excuse he has this time."

Charles shrugged. "I'm entitled to my opinion, no? I think they will get together this week. Even if I have to give Alex a little nudge because he doesn't have the guts to ask her out."

Max sighed. "If their friendship is ruined by the end of the week I am taking no responsibility. It's all Charles' fault."
