"This place is still dangerous,stay out of here until we we give all the clear." Iharu stated to the man and he stood up, facing the three of you.

He had a blank expression but has a wide eyes that makes him look so errie.
He lifted his pointer finger at Iharu and something from inside him is coming out from his finger.

"Move, Iharu-kun!" Reno warned the pink haired man who's completely oblivious of what threat is coming. But before he could say something, it hits his chest.

"Iharu!" You exclaimed after a shot hit him, losing his balance. "Ohh,I missed your heart, huh. I guess I'm not accurate in this form. " The man says still wears the blank errie expression.

Iharu wails in pain as his blood drips out of him like a running water in a faucet. He kneels while you and Reno gave him support. " The bleeding won't stop!" Iharu exclaimed as he tried to stop the blood flowing out using his palm.

"Calm down and use your suit to stop the bleeding!" Reno says, also in panic but tried to remain composed for his friend's sake. While the two are fixed on Iharu's wound, you glared at the man and asked.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I think you've seen me before." He replied and his body started to deform, almost looking like he's about to blow up. But then, your eyes widened to see the opponent back then. "It's him." The two snaps their heads towards you as your jaw dropped, seeing the threat in front of you again. "The one from the exam."  You added, still fixed on the Daikaiju infront of you.

His head appears to have a set of two protuberances stacked onto each other. Underneath his head are small, sunken eyes that are not visible sometime.

"The one that took down Shinomiya and put Y/n into a though situation?" Iharu asked and you nods.

" Well, I don't want to just return empty handed. Maybe I can atleast take home a live sample of a defense force officer." His voice changed into a more robotic tone and ragged as he showed his eyes under his head towards the three of you.

"Platoon leader Ikaruga, weve encountered a humanoid Kaiju. Send back up immediately!" Reno pressed his earpiece, " Platoon leader!" He exclaimed but they didn't seem to hear his message.

You also tried to check yours but it seems broken and it gave a ting sound, meaning it's malfunctioning. "No way," Reno says in disappointment

"Don't tell me it's because of this humanoid Kaiju." You said to yourself, recalling what you have read on a parcticular book that some kaijus that have a fortitude level that exceeds its usual number can affect something in line to its specialty or in the worst case scenario, intelligent enough to fuse the communication devices.

"Oh, right communication thingies. I've figured those out. This area is completely undetectable from the outside world." He explained as what you expected, this humanoid kaiju is more than just a formidable one, but also has a high level of intelligence.

" I came up with this trick to help me stay hidden among humans, but it works well for hunting humans too, you know." He stated while lifting his palm, about to throw another blow. Reno tried to avoid it but it hit the right side of his waist and left his calf, making him exclaimed in pain as he lost his balance, You got hit on the shoulders, but it didn't bother you. You ran towards the humanoid, aiming for his eye. Your bullet hit his right side and one of his hands, making him stop attacking for a moment.

"Huh, looks like I'm still missing. Didn't even see this officer coming," he said, throwing another punch at you with his other hand as the two men shouted your name. He threw you in front of your comrades, and you groaned from the impact.

Slowly standing up, Reno helped you. "Oh, I see now. You figured it out, right? Noticed it in our last fight," you remembered, sharing the trick you and Kikoru had found—you could predict where he'd aim by watching his finger.

The kaiju threw another attack at Reno, who barely dodged it. "So, I was right," the humanoid said, scratching his head. He shot at the kaiju's wrist, making him pause.

"Get out of here and call for help," Reno told Iharu, aiming his gun at the humanoid kaiju.

"Why do I need you to protect me?" Iharu asked.

"Look out!" you yelled, trading shots with the kaiju as Reno pushed Iharu away, grazing his shoulder. Iharu groaned in pain but luckily the wound doesn't seems to deep.

Reno stood back up. "Iharu, go please." Reno commanded while slowly catching up his breath. "We'll give you time to go." You added while your gazes were fixed towards the enemy, focusing to see where he'll attack next.

He hesitated for a second, couldn't let his comrades fight knowing how strong the oppent is. But left without any choice, he slowly stood up and dashed away.

You glanced at Reno who's shaking which is understandable. His anxiety rising up knowing that even you and Shinomiya didn't stand a chance against it. But he brushed it away and glanced at you as a cue to charge. You nod as both of you dash through the enemy while charging at him. The enemy infront avoids the rain of bullets as if hes body was made out of jelly. He threw another attack towards you two while you jump off and slide down to avoid it. It vanished and teleported in front fo you two, casually crouching on the top of a post.

"You seem to know a few things about me even we just fought in short amount of time."  He said to you something in his back started to grow and it looks like the one the he used to attack you, but larger. " But I'm sure you didn't know this, do you?" His attack was about to hit the two of you but someone came to  rescue.

Iharu who supposedly heading for help came back, saving your asses as he grabs you and Reno by the waist. You landed off feet because you two are heavy for Iharu to carry, especially because of his wounds which the blood that supposedly sealed temporarily is now bleeding again.

"Iharu, why?" Reno asked in surprise.
"Iharu, you're bleeding too much." You said with a soft tone, concerned towards your comrade. "Listen, you guys ain't saving me. I'll be the one who's saving your asses." Iharu remarked still catching his breath but still smiled at the two of you but he might lose consciousness at any time due to blood loss.

You glanced at the Humanoid kaiju who seems just watching the three of yu talking, as if he's letting you rest of a while before he could slay you.

"Didn't you go to get help?"

"Shaddap, If I didn't get back ,you two are probably dead by now."

" Oh, so you're trying to get him away out of here?" The humanoid kaiju eavedropped on your conversation.

"That won't work.Nothing,leaving or otherwise can leave this space without my permission." You furrowed your eyebrows concluding that not just the communication he stopped from coming he also sealed the surroundings in unknown radius.

On the other area..

The Vice Captain is busy eliminating the yojus but his earpiece buzzed and the pressed it listen who it is

"Vice Captain Hoshina, we lost contact with the three new recruits, Furuhashi, Ichikawa and L/n."

Abnormal vital signs detected, rapid increase in heart rate.
