"Why are you here alone, Officer Y/n?" Captain Mina's voice rang out crisply in the quiet locker room, drawing your attention away from the task of stowing your gear. Her eyes were fixed on you, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern.

You straightened up, meeting her gaze with a confident smile. "Everyone just jogs so slow, Captain. They couldn't keep up with me," you replied, a hint of playful pride in your voice.

As you continued to organize your belongings, Mina's eyes flickered to the clover necklace dangling from your neck. "I've seen your file," she mentioned casually, her tone softer now. You closed the locker with a decisive click, the sound echoing slightly in the room. "It seems that you lost your memories due to an accident."

You hesitated briefly, then nodded. "Uh, yes, Captain. I had an accident years ago. I went here to seek clues from my past.If it's okay, I have a question."

Mina gestured to the bench beside her, inviting you to join her. "Go ahead."

You sat down, considering your words carefully. "Is it possible that your mind forgets, but your body remembers?"

The captain's brow furrowed slightly, a thoughtful expression crossing her features. "Yes, it is. Your mind may have hidden memories to protect you from reliving certain events."

You nodded again, absorbing her words. "I see. Do you think... have you ever seen me here before by any chance?"

Instead of directly answering your question, Mina's response was cryptic yet hopeful. "I hope you'll remember something soon."

The locker room door suddenly slid open with a whoosh, and the chatter of approaching voices filled the space. Three young women entered, their footsteps echoing against the tiled floor. They paused, clearly surprised to find you conversing with the captain.

"I'm sorry!" Kikoru exclaimed with hesitation, her eyes wide as she addressed Mina. The captain reassured them with a calm smile. "It's fine. It's already time for the next batch."

"Thank you, Captain!" the trio chimed in unison, their voices carrying a mix of relief and gratitude. You nodded at them, silently indicating they could proceed, and Mina acknowledged your gesture with a nod of her own.

Once they had left, you headed into the adjacent room, finally allowing yourself to relax in the warmth of the bath after a grueling training session. The water embraced you, soothing tired muscles and allowing your mind to drift back over the conversation with Captain Mina. Her words lingered in your thoughts, mingling with the steam rising around you as you pondered the mysteries of memory and the path to rediscovery.

"Do you find anyone attractive here, Akari?" Hakua, the strikingly tall woman with blue hair, asked Akari as they reclined in the warm tub. Akari rested her chin on her finger, gazing thoughtfully at the ceiling. "I think Reno is quite good looking," she replied softly. Hakua's eyes lit up in agreement. "Yes, I thought so too, but Aoi seems more my type. He exudes reliability and calmness."

Their attention turned to Kikoru, who seemed uneasy under their scrutiny. "You always tease Kafka; do you like him?" Akari pressed gently. Kikoru blushed furiously, dipping her face into the water for a moment. "Like hell! Even if he were the last man on Earth, I wouldn't fall for him," she retorted defensively.

The three friends then directed their curious gazes towards you. "How about you, Y/n? Do you find anyone attractive here?" Shinomiya inquired with a playful grin. "I'm not sure. But I think I might have liked someone before," you admitted pensively.

"Who was it?" they all leaned in, eager for your answer.

"I had an accident and lost my memories. I can't remember who he was, but he appears in my dreams. We talked in my dreams as it was one my lost memories because somehow, It feels... different," you confessed as they listened intently, drawing closer.

"Well if you had forgotten about them, it's their duty to make you remember them right? " Kikoru stated and you couldn't help but to agree.

" But no one came when I waited."
You replied and they gave you a sympathetic look. " They probably wouldn't want you to recall something." Akari said to you.

"But wow, you fight like a pro even after losing your memories," Hakua praised warmly, her companions nodding in agreement. "Imagine how strong you'd be if you hadn't lost them," she mused, leaving you to wonder.

"That was really refreshing ," Kikoru remarked after everyone finished bathing. As you returned to the lobby, you were surprised to find the men sprawled on the tiled floor, faces and lower bodies covered as if in mourning. Reno stood nearby, fanning them with a paper fan.

"Is there a serial murder ?" Kikoru queried Reno, her eyes fixed on the unconscious men.

"Ah, Kikoru," Akari interjected with a hint of amusement. Kikoru squatted down and lifted Kafka's face towel, revealing his flushed face. "They were chatting too long and passed out," she explained with a chuckle.

"They were talking about Captain Ashiro," Akari added, shaking her head. "Men are all idiots," she sighed, dropping Kafka's towel and rising to her feet.

Daily life at the headquarters training involved jogging laps for conditioning, strategizing tactics against Kaijus, scaling walls, lifting weights, shooting practice, more running and amusing moments like Kafka's fear of the captain's giant pet, which seemed to adore you and the other girls.

Since that incident, your bond with Kikoru along with Hakua and Akari . During lunch, you couldn't help but marvel at Hakua's impressive appetite. Training was demanding, but the bonds you shared with your newfound friends eased your mind as each day passed.
