Lana's POV:

I was so excited to meet Marina. I was already thinking of what we could talk about on the way to the restaurant. I was nervous.. I haven't talked to her in a while so I didn't know what to expect. I quickly went upstairs and fixed myself up and passed my straightener through my hair again.

a few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. My heart skipped a beat as I headed downstairs. My cats were standing by the door as I eagerly opened it. I saw Marina standing with a huge smile on her face. Her hair was longer than the last time I had seen her and was curled perfectly.

"oh well hello there!" She said giggling.

"Oh my goodness hi!" I said as I brought her in for a hug.

"Ready to get going?!" she said

"Of course let me just grab my bag and we can be on our way!" I said as I quickly ran upstairs to grab my baby blue Prada purse. I put my vape inside and my wallet and headed out. As we got into the car the radio was playing the title track from my album "Lust For Life". I giggled.

"Oh my goodness I'm on the radio!" I said while laughing.

"Omg that's crazy, I don't think I've ever even been on the radio myself?" She said while putting on her seatbelt, I did the same.

I laughed and she drove off. The first few minutes of the car ride were quiet as I was on my phone texting Chuck. I felt bad about getting into an argument with her. I wanted to text her, but I knew she would ask me what I was doing and if I told her I was with Marina that would just cause another argument so I put my phone down.

Marina quickly said something to break the awkward silence, it seemed like she was waiting for me to put my phone down to start a conversation.

"Where should we stop to eat?" She said looking at me.

It felt like her eyes were shooting out lasers into my body. I tensed up not knowing what to say, why was I so nervous? I mean, we haven't seen each other in a while so that's understandable. But why was I so scared, it couldn't be what I thought it was. I just brushed off the thought and replied quickly.

"Oh well there's this cute cafe by the beach we can stop by?" I said as I looked down at my phone, I really wanted to text chuck. She could make anything better.

"Yeah sure no problem!" She said.

once we were there we got out of her car and a fan quickly ran up to us.

"OMG MARINA AND LANA CAN I PLEASE HAVE A PICTURE?" the fan seemed so happy it was adorable, I loved fan interactions.

"Of course love!" I said. I didn't even think about how Marina would feel about it, I'm so stupid.

Marina looked at me and smiled, we quickly posed for the picture and the fan walked away smiling.

"Well you sure love your fans don't you" she said laughing.

"I mean of course they're the reason I live the life I do! I love them with my whole heart." I said smiling.

as we were walking our hands accidentally touched a few times. But I didn't think much of it.

As we sat down at a table waiting to be served, I asked her how she had been. We talked a bit about life. She suddenly went quiet, and brought up the topic I was avoiding.

"Hey Lana, so I know you might be wondering why I just cut you off randomly.."

My entire body went numb.

Hi guys! Currently have no motivation to write. I have the next chapter so I might update it later tonight or tomorrow! This was such a boring chapter. And I'm sorry lol.
