Tyler sat there staring at his hands and fiddling with his sleeves. A nervous habit I noticed he had. I'm praying he doesn't say no, it would break my heart if he did say yes. But I'm willing to wait a thousand years for this kid. We are closer in age and I know his brain is probably swimming with what if's. I look at his face seeing that he is fighting with himself so I spoke up. "Tyler, it's okay. You don't have to answer me right now. I'll wait for you. " I stated kissing his temple and walking to my room.
