I shuffle around in a feeling, completely different than the dream I was in. A dream. I stuff my face into what feels like a pillow. When I turn about, I feel the ache in my back, groaning.
It wasn't a dream? Being slapped so hard on my back... The object breaking?
Silent and hoarse cries whine from my throat as I try to shift, not bothering to think about the rising questions. I wipe my morning tearful eyes on the pillow, trying to huff a breath from being so pressed in the comforts, but I didn't, for some reason, want to get myself out of the comfy duvets and sheets. In the process of trying to breathe, I feel something... just something, pressed against my chest. In the rewind process of trying to shift around, I didn't question why I couldn't move so much...
My arms free themselves from under the pillow and hug around this rough yet smooth, solid skin feeling. My hands explore what's pressed in me: the sides, front, and top, when I conclude that it's a human with a large body and short hair. Perhaps a man, because I felt no woman's boobs.
I feel arms around my waist, a hand that had slipped under the back of my shirt. Ginni usually does that, as she's sound asleep, during the rare occasions when we sleep together. Down my waist, tangled in my legs, was another set of legs. My entire body was being squeezed and pressed into someone else's. Someone not with a familiar body, aka, Ginni.
I'm not usually a horny morning person; I do not know who this human is. The body is so solid and firm. However, I'm being held so tight, a face pressed into my chest, I might as well suffocate him in my chest. I snuggle my face, feeling tickles from his hair, when I catch a familiar smell.
"As..." His hands traveled to the horizontal strip of my bra, the second my eyes opened in shock was the same second his fingers snapped the clips of my bra straps! So loose, the shoulder string slipped down my shoulder, I spring to a sit, looking down in shock at the man who seems to be in greater shock; hands tight on my waist still, while I hover him with my knees on either side of his hip due to our tangled legs. His body is so much larger than my knees could spread; I'm almost sitting on his morning wood.
In a split second, while huffing and trembling, I'm seeing misty clouds escaping from both of our lips. The man below me is in a tight white shirt, his chest so round and visible. My mind is running in milliseconds per hour, if possible. I do not want to harass someone. I'm not that kind of person. Why is it that it's hard to believe and keep sane with breakfast steamed just below me?
"Aslan?!" I jumped off the bed, strangling a foot in the duvet and falling off the bed in the process, hard enough to strain my ankle. If that wasn't bad enough, cramps kicked in, causing a strike of tiny needles to strike in every direction below my stomach, because of the cycle. Just when my throat suffocates an ache to cry, despite trying hard not to, Ginni springs into my room, surprised. Aslan is squatted, trying to get me back up onto the bed. It hurts so bad... I want to cry. I'm holding it in so bad I want to bawl. Both ankle pain and cramps.
"Oh my god. Have your neurons shut off this morning?" Ginni drags me up, concern in her voice, while she still has the audacity to be mean. In the morning, of all times. I winch, standing on one foot, feeling uncomfortable in my underwear, my arm strangling my stomach.
Now. "The couch is wet..." I feel around it, complaining just in time to spit the obvious in Ginni's face when she hands me a bag of frozen peas. This is not going to help when I feel colder during this time of the month!
"You sure, you and mister tight chest weren't the cause of said wetness?" I slap Ginni away from my ear. Feeling embarrassed. I tried to clear my throat, but was handed a small water bottle that Ginni often leaves in the middle of the coffee table for guests. "Thank you, Aslan."
I spent three minutes in the awkward moment, scraping my cut nails on the bottle's cap edges, while Ginni, after removing the clothes that dried up on the couch, folded them and stored 'em somewhere. She found a dry spot next to me for Aslan and one for herself, which was quite the trouble because some clothes I've forgotten to squeeze to death until almost all water was out, sat on the floor, which, by the way, has been cleaned. There's no room in this small apartment!
I drank my water at the kindly, gentle kick of a reminder from Ginni. I don't know about Aslan; he looks troubled this entire time and seems so shocked he can't seem to keep a still face. He was looking ahead, out the clear window door of the balcony. The late morning passed by when he felt me looking at him, staring back into my eyes. His brown iris, better quality than a mirror, held onto mine. Time daydreamed about, nothing evil happened, and all was well...
"What were you doing in my bed, Aslan?" I gulped my saliva, feeling my eyes being round like a puppy in curiosity.
He looked like he didn't expect that, followed by confusion. He just stared at me, like it was the only place he could ever hold his emotion in.
"I... somehow don't remember." He really does look confused.
We both looked to Ginni, whose cheek is bump on her palm, just staring at us. Nodding,
"He said he had given his remaining keys to his assistant, forgot to retrieve them, and had no other access to his home. Everyone back home was either too busy, asleep, or away elsewhere."
"Sov is at most always awake as I am. This week was their vacation, and all contacts possible are shut off." Aslan adds in when he remembers. His hair is half dried, brushed down into his face!!
"The couch was taken by the wet clothes. We don't have a guest room or extra bedding. You guys know each other, so I thought he could stay the night in your bed." Ginni finishes, winking at me, thanking herself for sending my man to me.
Then, I realized something. Baby's daddy didn't miss a thing. He looked at me, he must've seen something on my face, Ginni looks confused... Aslan, however, looks reassured..?
"Baby Esden is in a trusted adult's care. I don't let anyone who hasn't seen him be that close to him or keep him around..." The side of his lips looked like it was going to rise up, easing the worries I had in my mind.
"It's not useless worries.." I avert my upset eyes from him, but he always catches my attention back, even if he isn't doing anything.
"I suppose not." I smile to myself at his response, my insides are screaming in delulu.
Ginni, the entire time, was struck in confusion. After a good half laugh, we explained to her who Esden is. She couldn't stop sending me signals through her eyes when I hinted innocently that Esden usually quiets down when he's in my arm's reach.
"Is his mother not around?" Ginni comfortably asks, tensing the room unknowingly. Aslan straightens, hands clasped in between his manspread. "No."
He said nothing more.
