Izuku
Waking up next to Katsuki, eating breakfast together and getting ready, gives this whole new domestic feeling. We blend so easily in a routine that it doesn't feel unusual. When I got dressed and saw all the marks and bruises he left on me, heat poured into my stomach. It's too hot today for a turtleneck and the concealer I put on the many hickeys on my neck isn't full-coverage enough to cover them completely.
The drive back to college is peaceful, his hand on my thigh, stroking the skin as he drives. When he pulls up, I see people staring again. It's not new news that we're a couple, that playboy Katsuki Bakugou managed to settle down, but people can't seem to mind their business.
We part ways to head to our class and before I enter the hallway to my dance room, I bump into someone, being too busy trying to find my dance shoes in my bag while mumbling to myself.
"Oh sorry-" I look up after doing a quick apology bow to meet eyes with a person I haven't spoken to or seen in a while.
"Hello Midoriya."
"Hi! Shoto! Wow, uh, haven't seen you in a while! Sorry for bumping into you, but I must go-" I smile awkwardly and walk past him as he grabs my arm, holding me back. It startles me and I look at him confused and pretty angry.
"What are you doing? Let me go." Realization flashes over him with my disgusted gaze and he pulls away.
"You really shouldn't trust that boyfriend of yours. He's messed up." I stare into bi-colored eyes.
"Says you. How dare you? You literally cheated on me, Todoroki. You don't know what you're talking about." I laugh, how cynical.
"Yeah and he beat me up for it. Your sweet, caring boyfriend punched the life out of me for no actual reason. Guess he didn't tell you about that, did he?"
Is this one of the things Katsuki does for his loved-ones? That he did for me? Slight horror whelms through me.
"W-well you deserved it! Now leave me alone." I surprise myself with my words and run off, ignoring the looks students are giving me.
Entering my modern dance class, we start stretching and I'm next to Ochako.
"You will not believe what just happened to me." Us fully bent over, she turns her head sideways to look at me. "Omg what?"
"Todoroki. Shoto fucking Todoroki grabbed me a few minutes ago to tell me how shitty my boyfriend is."
"Are you serious? What a piece of shit! He really needs to leave you alone! As long as Bakugou treats you right and you're happy, he needs to back off. It's none of his business." I shoot her a knowing, agreeing look.
Moving to stretch our legs in a split, I sigh.
"I mean he did say something Katsuki hadn't really told me about yet.." She pokes me to continue.
"Apparently he beat Todoroki up some time ago..."
"WHAT?"
"Shhhh keep it down!"
"What?"
"Yeah..But I'm sure he had good intentions. I know Kacchan. He only does something like that when it's really reasonable and well Shoto being my ex is definitely a good enough reason for him. He probably said something rude to him about me and gave him consequences, I don't really know."
"Damn. You got yourself a feisty one. You go sweets. But Izuku, let me tell you one thing." I nod my head, leaning forwards for a better stretch.
"Mark your territory. Those hickeys on your neck say enough, but I haven't seen a single one on him. Let these sneaky bitches see how you're both in love and how your both out of their little game."
