"SORRY WE CUT OUR HANG OUT SHORT" matt apologies as he pulls into the drive way, "i have no idea what nick needs me for," he says. he turns of the engine and just leans his head back against the seat, turning it so he can look over to vivienne.
"it's okay," she smiles, her attention moving to his, his eyes softly piercing through her. she gulps nervously, "i don't wanna admit this but..." she hesitates, her eyes falling to her lap as her confidence begins to shrink, "you're not that bad."
surprise floods through matt, "yeah?" he bites back a smile, "told you."
"yeah well, don't think too much of it," she playfully rolls her eyes, "now go and see what nick wants."
"so demanding," he teases only to be returned with a unamused face from vivienne, he chuckles, "i won't be long, come with me."
vivienne nodded in agreement, opting not to argue since she had no clue how long she would have to wait alone in the car. the two of them approached the door together, and as matt unlocked it, they were greeted by nick and chris, both wearing wide grins. "why are you guys so happy?" matt inquired.
