AFTER WHAT FELT LIKE AN ETERNITY OF CONSTANT DISAGREEMENTS, vivienne had finally relented and agreed to talk to matt. he sounded sincere during the phone call, and she found herself speaking to him for longer than she had planned.
vivienne replayed the conversation in her mind, trying her best not to dwell on it, but matt's words evoked an unfamiliar feeling in her stomach.
