Horikita POV ......

Sigh.*

His sudden movement made my heart race, anticipating a blow that never came. I reflexively raised my arms in defense, only to realize he was pointing, not attacking.

"Do you see that camera?"

"Y-yes, I noticed."

I followed his gaze to the ceiling where a camera loomed. I hadn't seen it before, but Tatsuya's pointed finger drew my attention to it.

In the dimly lit classroom, Horikita found herself in a confrontation that could change her life forever. Trembling with fear, she stuttered, "N-no....t-this can't," while raising her eyebrows in disbelief.

"It seems like you have caught on," Tatsuya
responded

"H-hu-huh," Horikita stammered, her voice quivering with anxiety.

With a steely gaze, Tatsuya declared, "I am going to report you to the school authorities for violence and assault. I have sufficient proof and several witnesses backing me up."

"H-huh?" Horikita murmured, her heart pounding in her chest.

I am dreaming. Is this the end of my life at this school? No, this can't be. There is no way I came here to catch up to Ni-san. But even before doing that, I am facing expulsion," Horikita's mind raced with panicked thoughts.

"T-there's n-no way you would d-do that, right?" Horikita stutters, a glimmer of hope in her voice.

Tatsuya remained silent, sending a chill down Horikita's spine.

"Are you serious about this?" Horikita persisted, desperate for a response.

Still met with silence, Tatsuya slowly turns around and begins walking towards the exit, leaving the classroom and Horikita behind. Dread washes over Horikita as she watches Tatsuya leave, feeling her hopes and dreams slip away before her eyes.

"W-wait," Horikita called out, her voice shaking with desperation.

But Tatsuya continued walking, ignoring the pleas of Horikita.

"WAIT," Horikita's voice rises in a final, desperate attempt to stop the inevitable.

Unfazed by the words echoing in the empty classroom, Tatsuya exits without a backward glance. The sound of the closing door reverberates through the silent room, signaling the end of this pivotal moment.

Alone and shaken, Horikita is left standing, her future at the school uncertain and hanging by a thread. Everything she worked for, everything she hoped to achieve, now feels like it could crumble at any moment.

Tastuya POV .......

It was already evening when the effects of the medicine wore off. I woke up to find bandages covering my left arm. Strangely, it didn't feel odd or weird, just numb and nostalgic.

As I lay on my bed, I contemplated what had happened earlier. Why did I lose my composure all of a sudden? The memory of that man existence was still burning in my head.

I got up and checked my phone. There was a message from Yuu and Nagi.

[YUU: Done.]

After reading his message, I decided to leave and meet them at our usual spot. It was a spot for meetings, but not for Yuu and me; it was for someone else.

While walking, I remembered that I had left my bag alone in the classroom. I still had faith that Nagi or Yuu would bring it for me.

Upon entering the gym, the sports club members were preparing for their activities. I managed to pass through them without being noticed.

The place I had in mind was one without cameras, where the show would begin. This would either lead to significant growth for Horikita or her expulsion. However, expulsion was out of the question. As long as she didn't become an enemy, I wouldn't let her be expelled.

...
As I arrived at the spot, I didn't need to search - she was there, exactly where she had been instructed to be by Yuu. It was my turn now.

"Good morning, Tatsuya. Is your wound okay?"

"Did Yuu message you?"

I cut right to the chase, my sudden forcefulness catching her off guard.

"Yuu, ask me to spare you at least," I boldly and confidently responded as Horikita looked visibly surprised.

"He did?" she asked in disbelief.

"But honestly, when it comes to you, none of that matters. After all, you're nothing but a phony," I asserted.

Swiftly, I seized her phone from her grasp and illuminated the screen, causing Horikita's eyes to widen in disbelief.

"Please, don't," she pleaded earnestly.

"Just as I expected, my opinion of you has only worsened," I coldly remarked.

"T-that's... that," she stammered, her voice faltering.

"What's this? Planning to record my voice in case I slip up? Considering editing or even cloning it?" I questioned sharply.

Returning her phone, she accepted it with trembling hands.
