"What proof does the opponent even have to save this man" The lawyer of the woman asked
"I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't even touch her" My client screamed and I sighed.
Unneccessary Drama. I asked him to keep his emotions in check and stop screaming.
Why can't people control their emotions.
"Calm down Mr. Forbes. I know you didn't do anything. Soon the court will know too" I said standing up buttoning my coat's button and looked at the opponent lawyer.
"Proof ? I'm sure I'll give you the one. But before that I want to ask Ms. Camille some questions. " I spoke looking at the Judge and he nodded.
"Ms. Camille, you need to come here your highness. It's not your boyfriend's home now" I mocked
"Mr. Kapoor, maintain law decoram" The judge said and I passed him a fake smiling nodding.
"So Ms. Camille, may I know from how many years you were together " I asked
"The question doesn't relate your highness. Mr. Kapoor is tolling the case" The opponent lawyer spoke
"Yes, that's how I win every case right" I mocked
"Anyways, Yes Ms. Camille my answer" I demanded
"Four" She replied
"So was he like that from starting. Domestic violence and all" I asked
"N.. No. He became like this some time ago" She told and I smirked.
"Why are you stammering Ms. Camille. It's court. He can't do anything to you here" I said
"I'm not stammering" She muttered and I smirked.
"Okay, so tell me, how was he before" I asked
"He was good. He loved me" She said
"So what happened now all of a sudden that you've accused him for such a hinious act" I asked
"And I would wanna know this too that how can it be possible that he proposed you for wedding, you said yes, then next day said you were physically assaulted and raped by him. Where as the camera's of his home are not working. His cell phone was switched off. His maid didn't see you in morning leaving and... He didn't come out of the room before 12 pm. How? And it happened on 15th Decemeber right? " I asked and she looked at her Lawyer.
"Here Ms. Camille. He won't help now" I snapped my fingers and she looked at me.
"Your highness. The opponent is pressurizing my client" that lawyer spoke again.
"I haven't even started yet" I gave him bored look.
"Yes so tell me 15th right. Where did you go? I mean where did you run away for saving your life from this monster" I asked
"I...Went to my friend's home" She said
"Which friend" I questioned
"Rachel" She replied and I smirked
"Where is she? We want confirmation" I told
"She has already given her statement " The lawyer interrupted
"I need witness. Statements given in custody aren't applicable in court. From where did you get your law degree by the way" I asked annoyed to the opponent lawyer.
"No personal accusations Mr. Kapoor" The judge warned and I nodded.
"She's out of state" The lady replied.
