VRINDA'S POV

" I was with your father in law" His words rang in my ears and I looked at Abhimaan who clenched his fists.

"I kn.. " he angrily spoke taking steps towards him when I came in between.

"Abhimaan" I screamed pushing him away.

"Get away Vrinda. I don't want to hurt you" He yelled

"You're already doing that" I again screamed pushing him away when he held my hand tightly.

All I was seeing in his eyes was rage. Pure rage.

He was blinded by that.

"Get out of my way Vrinda" He warned shaking of my hand with a jerk such that I stumbled on my feet when dad held me.

And I looked shocked at Abhimaan. Tears leaving my eyes profusely at his action.

"Abhimaan" Dad warned

"Dad... Di.. Did you.. K.. Kill hi.. " I couldn't even say when he shook his head denying.

"I didn't" He said and it was as if a stone was lifted from my chest.

"Stop lying on my face" Abhimaan warned when I glared him.

"If he said once, he didn't that means he didn't" I warned clenching my jaws.

"I'm here to talk to you regarding that only Abhimaan" Dad spoke

"You were in that CCTV Mr. Vidyut Shah. Don't fucking lie on faces" Abhimaan warned again

"I'm not lying Abhimaan. I swear on my daughter" Dad chided and this time Abhimaan looked at him and then at me.

"Then where the fuck were you since one whole year. " He screamed

"Abhimaan. Be in your limits" I yelled

"Limits? Which limits? My dad is dead. You realize that Vrinda. My.Dad.Is.Dead. And his murderer is standing right in front of me "He shouted as he picked his gun from the table and pointed it to dad.

"Dad" I cried as I stood in front of him and looked at Abhimaan.

His eyes totally dark, blinded by just revenge.

This isn't the man I knew. This isn't the man I fell in love with.

"Tell me why did you kill my dad" He yelled when I found myself holding dad's hand tightly in fear.

"Abhimaan. Stop it. Atleast listen to him" I cried

"Listen to him? The fuck I would" He raged

" Keep your voice low when you talk to my daughter, Abhimaan" This time dad interrupted

"This is between me and my wife" He stated

"And your wife is my daughter first" Dad said in a warning tone

"Why did you kill dad. For whom you are working. Is that Shantanu Charan. Just answer me Or else I'll shoot you right here" Abhimaan commanded as I saw his finger moving to the trigger.

"Abhimaan" I screamed in fear.

"Out of my way Vrinda" He yelled and I found my breaths getting heavier.

"Ma..Maan. Please" I sobbed with heavy breaths when his eyes flickered to me for a second.

And they softened. They softened in milli seconds as I saw him keeping his gun away and looking at me with fear in his eyes but all I had was anger in my eyes.
