VRINDA'S POV

"I don't know. It's the first hearing. I don't even know who is the lawyer in opposition. I'm very nervous. And I'm freaking out" I told mom over call and she sighed

"Vrinda, calm down. You'll do it. Since past two months you've been preparing for it" She said and I nodded .

Talking to both moms for a while and dad too I cut the skype call.

Looking at the clock I sighed. It was 6 in the morning and sleep was no where to come.

Five months. Five damn months.

And this place has become my home, people have become my life and I don't know how I'm going to leave.

After that night from cell, Abhimaan never let me go alone to the prison cell. He took special permission from the authorities, which I don't know how he managed and he was always there. But He spoke less, more less then he already did and somehow it made me angry and anxious. It was like, Abhimaan was back to Mr. Abhimaan Kapoor.

May be because I'm leaving in a month. And he was very clear since start, he don't want any me attached to anyone. Anyone including him too. In a way it was good right.

No attachments and no hurt.

But the thing was, I was already attached. Attached to his care, concern, anger, mocking, listening, talking, every damn thing he showed without even showing it off.

Checking up on me at office if I've had my lunch or not. Getting me breakfast in bed in morning if I've been ill. Turning off the lights if I sleep in between work. Keeping dark chocolates and anything what I like every time I've been on my periods so that I've one less reason to be cranky. And of course, finding myself tucked into the bed with comforters on, even if I would've slept on the couch the previous night.

What was he!!

What was he doing!

Without speaking much, without showing off he was doing every single thing one would desire for. One would crave for.

One which I had always craved for yet didn't get. One which I did and wanted someone to do for me. Putting that one extra effort for me. And he was doing that. Without asking & without telling. My bare minimum which I compromised was coming back to me from the person who was ought to go away from me after a month.

Because five months but none of us discussed about the end of the sixth month.

Sighing I woke up and my eyes fell on the date.

May 28th. And I sighed more.

I pressed the knob of the door and went upstairs. While going to the terrace I saw the door of the gym room slightly opened hence I peeked inside.

"Abhimaan" I called but didn't hear any reply.

Going inside I looked at the gloves of boxing kept on side and a totally beaten punching bag which I was shocked to see because the condition it was in definitely defined that this gym room needed new punching bag.

Dumbbells were the floor and a gym sweatshirt on side and just then I heard the voice.

"What are you doing here" the voice made me turn to the door and I looked at..

He had just his track pants on and his upper body was bare. Water droplets were dripping from his body giving a clear indication that he had thrown water on his face.

His muscles flexing and his abs making it difficult for me to look somewhere else.

He looked delectable.
