“VRINDA'S POV ”

"Abhimaan.. " I screamed as I saw the hot air balloon falling downwards.

"Shit. Vrinda, hold my hand" Abhimaan spoke

"It's going down. It's going down." I panicked

"Sush. Sush, nothing will happen" He assured

"Shit. Someone has hampered with the safety ropes too " The pilot too panicked

"Calm down. Where are the parachutes" Abhimaan asked

"Behind you, in that pit " The man told and Abhimaan bent pulling them out but as he was straightening up, I saw a hot air balloon near us but when I saw people in them it shocked me.

The two men in it were.. Armed. They had guns in their hands.

And before I could process it all, one of them fired.

"Abhimaan" I yelled as I pushed his hand away with himself.

He fell off inside itself with a jerk but I saw the bullet touching his upper arm.

"Maan" I cried as I saw the blood on his shirt.

"Fuck it" He muttered as if it was nothing.

And as he stood up,he pulled out...

My eyes weren't able to believe what I saw.

Abhimaan had a gun in his hands.

And before I could process, he aimed at the balloon and shot twice puncturing it. As a result of which, that balloon fell down with speed.

The scene was unfolding infront of me in light speed.

"Wear the parachute Vrinda" He spoke but I looked at him.

"Vrinda, we're going down in a bad speed, we'll die if you don't react right now" He added when I nodded and did what I was told.

My hands were shivering. I couldn't even tie that. Abhimaan tied both of us in a twin parachute and without even waiting he held my hand and nodded at the pilot who too was ready to jump off.

And Abhimaan jumped off. A loud scream left my mouth as I hugged Abhimaan tightly.

"Vrinda, look ahead. If you hug me right now, the landing will be failed. Support and balance. Keep your head straight and look above. Don't look downwards " His voice as a machine came out and I don't know how and why but I obliged.

We can die. We can die here.

I shut my eyes in fear and tightened my hold on that one hand.

What was a gun doing with Abhimaan. Why did he have it.

And as I saw the ground near us, Abhimaan hugged me tightly this time and spinned off the position such that he fell on the ground with me on top of him.

"Sush. Open your eyes. We're on the ground" His voice came and I looked at him.

But again, before I could say anything, I saw us surrounded by some four people.

Abhimaan stood up and helped me with the same. I looked around when I held Abhimaan's shirt tightly.

He too looked at all of them and then at me.

But then, I saw Elliot from behind and I was about to speak when Abhimaan pressed my hand gesturing me to not talk.

"Guns down" Elliot spoke and as those men looked back, I saw Abhimaan kicking one of them on the leg and punching another.
