Isn’t it the crown prince’s duty to protect his people?” Dela retorted, her eyes meeting those of the prince . Della wasn't afraid of the darting eyes staring at her as if she were some kind of witch.Della wasn’t afraid of the darting eyes that looked at her as if she were some kind of witch. “How dare you comment on the prince's dignity?” a soldier yelled in a high-pitched voice, causing everyone to shiver. Anni froze in place, knowing that Della had put herself in a terrible mess. But she couldn't leave her, not in a place where they didn't know what might happen next.
“She is a witch, punish her!” the crowd yelled all at once.
“She is not a witch; she helped the child!” Anni stood in front of Della. “If you punish her, then punish me too.” Anni knew one thing: she had to save Della. If she couldn't, she would accept the same punishment, because without Della, Anni was nothing, and the same was true for Della.
“If it’s your wish, I would like to grant it,” the same cold, rough yet strong voice came again. Now, Della stood with her head held high. Her eyes started searching for the owner of the voice. She found him when her eyes landed on a man on horseback next to the Crown Prince. His sharp features made him stand out among the soldiers. His broad shoulders, sharp, eagle-like eyes filled with the coldness of the North Pole, his high-bridged nose, and most importantly, his voice. His aura made Della tremble. Her throat went dry, she was sweating, and she was confused as to why she was so scared just by his voice.
She attacked the crown prince, so we want to punish her like an enemy," a man shouted from the crowd. Anni's fear for Della intensified."Apologize for your sins. The prince is merciful and soft-hearted; he may forgive you," another soldier yelled.
"I didn't do anything wrong. Why would I apologize?" Della's answer shocked everyone, even the crown prince. A light smile appeared on the prince's lips, while Anni was on the verge of fainting after hearing her friend's bold response .

Anni knew her friend Della's stubbornness well; her pride and dignity were incredibly high. Della’s preferences were clear—she would always choose her pride over her circumstances. Anni desperately wanted her friend to read the room and apologize to the prince, letting go of her stubbornness, because their lives were at stake. Della's refusal to apologize disappointed Anni deeply.
"How dare you say that!" The crowd's anger was palpable.
"I didn't do anything wrong," Della retorted, her voice unwavering. "I saved the child who was about to be trampled by the horses."
Despite the crowd's hostility, Della remained determined that she had done nothing wrong. Anni, seeing no other option, decided to intervene. "I apologize on her behalf. My friend is an idiot; she doesn't understand the situation," she said, hoping to diffuse the tension.
The crown prince, his voice soft but laced with sarcasm, asked, "If you apologize on her behalf, are you also willing to take her punishment?" His beauty did little to mask his intimidating aura. While Anni found herself captivated by his looks, Della saw him as a double-edged sword, not swayed by his charm.
"Yes, I would," Anni replied, knowing there was no way out but hoping to shift things in their favor.
"If you wish to share her punishment, I won't stop you. You will receive the same punishment”anni know that there is no way that they would saved . so she just have to put thing on her favour so they would together. “ if you want to share the punishment on her behalf. I won’t stop you, I grant your wish . you will also punish as same punishment as your friend.” anni feel like she is traped by prince. She look behind and saw her friend . and for her first time she can’t read della face. Della is very easy to read . she is very bad hiding her emotions; she wear her heart on her sleeves. But first time its unreadable. When anni eyes meet della a sense of relief flow run in anni body. Like della reassured her what happened next we would face it.” what punishment is suitable for them I want to ask my peoples” crown prince asked he crowd. “ kill them both” crowed yells listen the crowd response a panic run through anni ‘s and della’s body.

"Wow! Just wow! We travel all this way into the past, and this is what we get—a death penalty! Thanks to your stubbornness," Anni cried out in anger.
"Hey! It's not my fault. Who told you to act like a hero? You're the one who wanted to share the punishment," Della snapped back, her irritation tinged with fear of impending death.
Della's eyes suddenly met the gaze of the man on the horse., causing her breath to hitch in her throat. She felt as though he could see right through her."I was just trying to help you," Anni's voice broke through, diverting Della's attention. Della looked away first.
"Why? Who told you to?" Della demanded.
"You know why! I'm going to die before I get my doctorate," Anni retorted.
"You're not the only one who's going to die. I haven't had a boyfriend, we haven't gone to Thailand for a Thai massage or seen hot boys on the beach, and we haven't been to Indonesia yet. My dreams are shattered, and worst of all, I haven't gotten my revenge on Elda," Della fumed, her anger intensifying at Anni's lamentations.

“I want you to be my maid,”
the Crown Prince declared, causing confusion among everyone present, including Della and Anni. The Crown Prince approached them, passing Della and stopping in front of Anni. “Be my maid,” he repeated. This time, everyone understood.
“But I am the criminal, not her. Why did she become the maid, Your Highness?” Della asked, bewildered by the Crown Prince's sudden decision.
“Who said you wouldn’t be punished?” he replied with a sly, charming smile. “Your punishment is that you will become a maid and serve the Third Prince.”
Before Della could fully process his words, she overheard the murmurs of the onlookers, “Looks like her days are numbered. Serving the Third Prince is like a death sentence.” Della froze in place.
“Third Prince?” was all Della could manage to say.
“Yes, the Third Prince,” the Crown Prince confirmed.
